My husband and I have been married for 4 years. We have very little intimacy in our marriage. He seems to be bothered by me showing affection to him in most ways. Sometimes, when I try to hug, kiss, or snuggle with him he will pull away from me. He also has a low sex drive and turns me down often. I feel like he just doesn't love me the way that I need to be loved. It hurts my feelings so much. I have tried over and over and over to explain how I feel and express that we need to work on our marriage. I honestly think that he is incapable of connecting with me on such a level. I think that I looked past all of this while we were dating. I think I thought that the intimacy would come with time. If we did not have children I know that we would divorce. I have overwhelming guilt when I think about divorce because he is a good man. I am also in the middle of college with two years left. I want to make the best decision regarding taking care of my two boys also. They come first.

he gets drunk once in a while but when he does, he usually goes around the house and breaks things. last night, he broke a sliding glass door and like half of our china. How can i make him sober really quickly. i heard of making him vomit by drinking salt water, drinking coffee and eating bread but wat else could i do in a situation like this?

they seriously hurt your feelings, would you ever go home ever again to see them? They really hurt my feelings a week before Thanksgiving, plus my Mother and brother will NOT stop they're racist comments on my sister's long time boyfriend who is a black man, and a very nice man as well. My family really stepped on me (another matter unlike my sisters') and hurt my feelings, and they know they did it and see nothing wrong with what all they did (long story), plus they know I'm sick of the racism against my sister's to-be hubby. Would you write them off?

This is solely my mother and brother, not my Dad. I actually wrote my brother off 2 years ago when we last spoke, so this is really about my Mom in general. She's a very rude and ignorant woman!

I know him through a class we took together. We don't talk to each other that much. we help each other with homework and such. He asked for my number one day and called me that night and leave a voicemail saying that he though he should call since i gave him my number. next day, he called again and asked how was my day. Then, he called again the next day. But now, he stopped calling. ??? huh???? idk, i'm confused. I will never understand guys.

My boyfriend is going thru a huge change at work and now his ex-wife is taking him back to court and constantly calling with some dilemna which usually leads to arguing. After this happens, he usually calls me and asks me to come over. it usually ends up with sex but he's very quiet and really reserved. I'm trying not to take it personal and give him space and support but I guess I'm asking if men get quiet and moody when they have something weighing heavily on their minds. What do I do?

Him and his ex were never married, but they have a son together (who just turned 2). Every night she calls him, and he always (always!!) picks up the phone, saying "It could be about my child." She and their son live in a different state.

I asked him how come he didn't just marry her. He said she wasn't the right one. But he is always reminiscing about good times he had with her, it's so annoying. I tried to break up w/him the other day, but he convinced me that he doesnt love her, he is just concerned about their child. Riiiiight. I don't know what to do... [he's 30, she's 28, i'm 22]

we are married for 8yrs, every time we have a situation, we basically paper rock scissors it, or do what we want. But this is different, nit a night out, but a living thing. We have 3 children, 7,4,9mos. we own our home. I think the time is right. for 8yrs i've heard it's not the right time. Now i've seen a puppy at anti=cruelty that i really want, and she's against it. "we need to figure things out first" " How do we decide this, you want a dog, i dont. Who wins??? im confused because about a year and half ago when my boyfriend and i broke up from a 5 year relationship. almost every night i kept having dreams of him cheating on me and i'd feel very upset and aggravated. 2 months later from then; he broke up with me. he told me that he wanted space and his feelings for me had changed. three months after we broke up i found out that he has a girlfriend. i still think about him which i think is normal because he was a big part of my life....i've moved on and dated other guys. but, lately for the past 2 months i've had dreams of him desperately wanting to get back with me and he is unhappy with his current relationship.... i dont know what to believe...

by the way he called me about a month ago. he was just trying to see what i was up to. his first question to me was" how come you never call me?" then he went on asking how everybody in my family was doing.

I'm smart; I'm fun; I'm outgoing. I love the arts, film, good music, laughing...
But I'm plain and guys find me repulsive. I'm in college and one day soon, heading to law school. I think I might intimidate guys, but I don't mean to!!
I just don't think intelligent, ambitious guys with a passion for cinema exist...I don't care about looks that much, but I'm young and obviously need someone within my demographic.
Maybe I'm just shy, but guys eagerly pass me over even though I smile, laugh and make direct, freakin eye-contact!!! =) Maybe I just scare them away...
