i am a strong character i will not have a man walk over me- i admit in the past i did but not now! i stand my ground and wont back down, trouble is my man's the same personality as me and so we clash and have some heated arguments, the sex is great tho but the arguing is driving me mad he wants to wear the trousers and so do i! lol how do we sort this as he says he wont bow down which winds me up more!

I am 44 and met a lovely english guy 6 months ago. my best friend dosen't like him just because he's english. i have been friends with her for 12 years and usually trust her judgement. I'm nearly 19 and never had a gf before. It's not like im antisocial or horrendously ugly or anything bad like that... Is it possible to just be unlucky? Everytime a girl likes me something bad happens that stuffs everything up. It's almost at the point of being ridiculous! Sometimes i just wanna die cos i get so lonely.. ARGH

After being with a guy for two years we broke up. He said he was having up n down feelings.but when he first said he didn't have the same feelings for me as before. We had been living together for 6months at his parents place. Things were differnt and some what awkward at stages but i didn't care cos i loved him and would do anything to be with him. Then one day outa the blue he told me he didn't have the same feelings this was a complete shock to me as i didn't see it coming at all??so i moved out, then we had somewhat a small break and that week killed me we caught up and he told me how much of a d' head he was,and said he was really sorry and wanted to do whatever it took to make things right. I said well you hurt me, and dont know how to trust you. Then we got back together cos i believed he was sorry and wanted to make it right, and it was fine again. After 2months he then after me saying you don't make enough effort in our r'ship he said im sick of this & broke up. is he confused

So me and my friend made a bet between each other for a thousand dollars that who ever could sleep with ever single race by the end of college would win. So far I have Asian, Native American, African American, and a what we decided on was a islander girl. Anyway here is my problem. We used to be very close, I straddled on his shoulder, I could yell at him, bit his arm when I got angry...he fulfilled my every wish, never scold me, not to mention physical punishment.

It suddenly stopped when I hit 7, he became a complete different person, hot got harsh, stern and strict on me, it was almost happened on one night, I had to do homeworks that he "assigned", he forced me to study hard, forced to learn extra math and science lessons on Saturday and Sunday, If my grades dropped a little bit, he would picked on me for hours, even worse, I would got spankings, no matter if I did something wrong or grades dropped....I was scared of him

We got further and further emotionally when I grew up, and I centainly don't want to bring up my BF thing, which happened when I was 14, all I can tell you is I got a slap, then grounded for 2 months.

Now I'm 24, he wants to make up, though I still live with him, I barely talk to him, I don't want to, I think I no longer love him any more.

Finding ourselves in a new country with no friends or family we really only have each other. He's already settled in a routine, going to work, meeting new people,etc. I just started looking for a job. Feeling a bit useless(know I'm not), just need to hear it every now and again. Don't have any friends and overall just feel sorry for myself. Feel like he doesn't understand how lonely and depressed I am. He chooses to ignore it because I'm just being a silly woman. He gets home at night and then sits on the internet the whole night, while I cook, clean, etc. No company, no help...Starting to get frustrated. How should I handle the situation? Should I stick it out till I also have a job and friends and feel part of society again?? I'm not really the 'through my toys' kind of girl. I get too emotional sometimes.Want to react rationally.Maybe some guys can try and answer my question...Rational girls as well. Am I just being oversensitive???HELP!!

I'm tired of all these people getting bent out of shape because they decided for a little variety during marriage.

Why not take the "cheat" out of the equation.

Erase that word and have an open marriage.

Honestly....does one more sex partner make that much of a difference when you've had so many during your single years?

If you're worried about you getting jelous becasue you can't handle your spouse being with somebody else....guess what...most people already were with somebody else.

So why does one more make any bit of difference?

Does it cause you that much mental anguish to know that you weren't the only one they were hot and sweaty with?

What if a lady has a special thing to a gent, keeps it within herself and doesn't show any signs nor give any hints... then THAT gent found out (from a friend) that THAT lady likes him, how would he react if he likes her back? today i found out that my husband (for 9 months) doesn't know my cell number, he lost all his phone book and he couldn't call me because he didn't know my number!!! I got very upset about it and he couldn't understand what's the big fuzz!!!
how he can remember other numbers but he can't remember mine? and what if one day he will lose again his cell and he will need to call me from another phone. I'm so mad about this, do u think i'm right?

I met this guy today who is so incredibly cute. He said he thinks I'm sexy.
We were talking for hours.. just about our lives etc.
We then got onto the topic of why my ex and I broke up a week ago. I said it was because I got sick of him always being tired and falling asleep.. not wanting to go out, and complaining whenever I went out with my friends.
Im 18, I want to get out n have fun being single. He said hes the same n doesnt want to get tied down cos hes young (20).
I thought this meant Im not a potential gf.. so we got onto the topic of "casuals" and we both have never had one before and arent into it.
So.. I guess thats a good thing right?

Does it matter that he said he doesnt want to get tied down - or does everyone say that?
