My perents took me and my brother to a caravan and my brother is always bad. my dad asked me a question that I did not no like the capital of mexico and because I did not no it he said You stay in the caravan all day and they took my brother out and he was bad all day.They said when they come home how he was naughty all day but they gave him sweets and ice cream to shut him up. The main thing I want to ask your opinion is was the violence in 'stage 3' my fault. I did nothing to provoke him but had I contributed to an environment where that was 'acceptable' making it easier for him to break the taboo against hitting women?

I got pregnant but the father was not sure if he wanted to commit or not and the relationship was volotile. The first incident was before I was pregnant. He was playing music loud and I had asked him to turn it down but he kept it loud just to annoy me so I took a knife and came up to him just to scare him. He reacted by holding my arm and twisting the knife away but I was not going to do anything and I was surprised he would do anything.

Then when I was pregnant and we were living together he was having an affair but I did not know it, just suspected at the time. One time I took his phone and wanted to see the texts and he shoved me. That was the first time he laid his hands on me and I was shocked.

my brother has bipoloar he is not properly diagnosed long story but i hav no dbout that the problem. i ahv lived with this violent time bomb for the first 15 years of my life and it was hell som times. i wont go into detail i am now 24 so havent had to live with him 4 abot 10 years. he is getting worse. the piolitical party he voted for didnt get in and as a result i get out of the blue threats and abuse from him. somthing didnt go right and i am the instant target of his anger. i love my brother but i cant do this any more i just want to turn my back on him. i have a son and abay on the way and he is to the point now thati fear for my familys safety wen he snaps. i will break my heart to turn my back but i hav no choice.

me and this guy met on a cruise. we had sex twice, and acted like bf and gf. after the cruise he contacted me right away on myspace.
we didnt talk constantly..but after awhile he wasnt contacting me and i got nervous. i wrote him a message on myspace basically
saying that if he doesnt write back, he doesnt want any part of me..and he wrote back. i surprised visited him a few months after
the cruise, and he was really happy. he kissed me on the lips goodbye, we were only there for about 20 minutes. it was weird bc
i already decided i was going to college near where he lives in a year before the cruise. between the cruise and college we saw
eachother twice, once the surprise visit, and the other time we hung out and talked the entire time..NO SEX. we had a convo
about whether or not he was using me on the cruise or not. he said no he didnt and that he liked me. after that visit, he texted

were shaking..and he was so sweet and friendly. but then his friend, the stupid one..came and he had nothing to say. he had this guilty face

I have been living with my BF for 7 months and we are very happy &I have always trusted him. But, He went out with a girl for 5 years before he met me and they were engaged. They had been seperated 2 years before he met me, but they kept traveling the 4 hours to see each other every 6 weeks or so for sex basically. He stopped seeing her when he met me and I never had a problem with him still caring for her as they were together so long, as long as he was honest with me.

The thing is, I am going to New Zealand for 3 weeks with my mum and he sent me a txt message by accident, it was meant for his EX. Saying that "he wants to go up and see her for a weekend in Jan as he still wants to be friends and he has 3 weeks of Freedom! If that is ok with her."

If he had said he wanted to see her I wouldn't mind, I would trust him not to do anything, but doing it behind my back whilst I am away makes me feel sick. I love him so much but do I confront him and risk us splitting up? or wait

Okay so one of my close friends has a boyfriend whom she's been with for around 6 months now. They are pretty serious and she brings him everytime our group of friends hang out. I hate his cocky attitude and how he ignores the rest of us. I also hate how she is when he's around because she never takes anything seriously. I don't want to confront her about this because it will cause too much drama, but I honestly can't stand them! What to do??

ok, i have been seeing a girl for a few weeks now. she is the sweetest girl that i have ever met. she is smart and beautiful and pretty much. she comes from a tough family, she has been sexual abused by her step dad and brother. she has always been afraid and shy and stuff and she finally opened up to me and i could really see myself liking her. however the whole problem starts here. do i really know what i am getting myself into? for example. my brother just got back from being stationed in nc and leaves monday to head off to iraq. and she knew that but she still called me 21 times in a matter of 4 hours while i was at the movies with him.i know she doesnt mean any harm but would i be better off looking for somebody who is more secure? also, one night she got really drunk and i told myself i wanted to love her before we had sex, but she pretty much seduced me and ended up losing her verginity to me. this whole situation just sucks i dont know if i am doing good to this girl or bad?

There's this girl I have a crush on, who has a BF in a diff city, but flirted with me heavily in the beginning- had an innocent mischevious way of talking & she even asked me to have drinks/dinner with her (in return for my help with career advice). But then she turned cold, I contacted her and asked her to dinner, but she didn't even reply to my email. I posted a question earlier about my relationship--I got up courage to talk to him about things. He and I talked and talked and he swore it wasn't anything more than a fantasy and he doesn't want anyone other than me.

I told him I just wasn't sure what to believe. He got all defensive and I told him I just wanted him to be happy. I said I'd rather him be happy with someone else rather than miserable with me. We talked more and I thought we'd talked everything out and it was gonna be ok.

He tried to be sexual toward me and I just wasn't in the mood. I've been hurting all day home alone and tired from cleaning up Thanksgiving while he was at the mall with friends and I just didn't want sex right then.

Every time they call to my house or i call to their house there is always something that sticks in my mind and its the way my sister in law treats the kids and my brother doesnt say anything! they are both in their mid 30s and have been together 3 years, they have a 2 year old girl, and she has 2 girls, 11 and 8, from a previous relationship..
she treats the oldest ok, and its like the youngest is the centre of their universe but the 8 year old is not shown any ove, just contempt! it sickens me! if she tries to speak, she is told to shut up, that no-one wants to know, and if she says she is hungry her mother says 'what do u want me to do about it?', very viscously! i was their last night and he child was being quiet , went to tell me a story abt school, and was told to go to her room by her mam cos she was annoying her!!! the toddler is always being told that this child is bold and not her friend, but that the oldest is her friend! the 8 yr old often says that no one likes her and...

so my b/f and i have been together for almost 5 years on and off, and we have been on for 11 months now, the problem is.... although we have trust issues and im really nosy, i had just looked into his cell account and found he has been txting an old fling, now one problem with the account is that when i looked at the text messeges there were alot from her but the texts i have sent, a the exac times i sent them (i checked) didnt show, anyway i love him so much and i dont want to loose him and i know once i cnfront him he will blame me for lookng what do i do, believe the thing is cell account is flawed (bc it is somehow) and move on or confron him and probobly lose him or i dont know i am freaked out wha should i do????

Hi there,
Any advice on the following conundrum would be greatly appreciated :)

My twin brother and I seem to be "at war" with our parents almost every day. Our parents seem to believe that we do not help out enough in comparison to the privileges we recieve ( laptops, xbox 360, tvs, math tutoring, cars,horses and tennis etc) . I'm not trying to portray myself as the patron saint, I know I'm not perfect. I can be very argumentative and sarcastic, and I have often been labeled a smart alec. The problem I seem to be having is that I am begining to feel extremely angry and I am displaying this to my parents in a way I wish I could prevent. However, they refuse to let me walk away when I feel this anger build. They are now threatning to take away every privilege my brother and I recieve, they say that if my attitude does not improve soon they will send me to bording school overseas (probably The Netherlands)! I don't know what to do anymore, they won't take me seriously. Any advice?

I was on the phone with him earlier and I was talking to him and he was acting a little out of it so I asked him if he was intoxicated and he lied to me and said no. Eventually I got it out of him and he agreed to being intoxicated but said that he lied because he didn't want me to look down on him. Because I do tend to be disappointed and look down on him when he's intoxicated. Is it okay for him to lie to me? Could he be lying to me about anything else in our relationship?

And in case you're wondering I occasionally have a drink or two but I am very ambitious and I don't do it that much (just at social events, etc...).

We have been together for 5 1/2 years , Had a baby in 2005, Got married two months ago. We both have met each others families n our families met each other families n enjoyed great company. ~ So .. I was thinking about christmas gifts and decided to find out my grandmothers family history for my father n my aunt .. I thought that would be a great gift. Any how in the process of doing so my husband sat next to me on the couch n asked to help me (there is alot of history) He was sooo shocked when he found out my great great great grandfather is also his great great great grandfather which makes us 4th cousin .. in no out way our families cross besides of this.~Hes taking this every well .. he said its too far away to matter n the ring on his finger makes him my husband and nothing else. Me on the other hand is taking this very badly, I cried and called my parents .. only to get my head chewed off by them .. they told me the same thing my husband told me. Am I'm taking this 2 far??

My current girlfriend is 30 years old and says she has had 16 former lovers. She said some of them were one-nighters during her college days but the majority of them were failed relationships. We always use protection and she said she has been tested. Is this ballpark average of is she just easy?

I've always wondered, is marriage worth it? Every marriage I've ever seen, including 3 of my fathers, have gone straight down the drain and caused nothing but strife.

My question is....what makes marriage worth it? What's good about it? Bad?

ok heres my story i was 17 and this 29 yr old beg to marry me and wrote me poems and song and told me he alwyas gonna be there fo me no matter what and i fell in love with him and give him 100% trust, he promised i was gonna beable to go to college well to keep him happy i end up workin 2 jobs trying to pay most of the bills and then 8 months later he started to treat me bad cuase alot of bills was coming and he was stressin, well i got into this bad car accident where my car wen under a semi trailer, ad he wasn there for me , put his new car sales man job be4 me didnt want to take me to the hospital! so i left cus i was shocked and i left, next day i tried to work thing out he didnt want nothing to do with me, then i found out i waspregnant and he didnt care wither, well after 7wks ihad a miscarrige, we've bin separated for 2 months and he dont want nothingto do with me! he backstab me, how can i get over this? does karma really happen? will he get punish for this?
