I think sex before marriage is a good practice, as long as it is done with discretion. I think that a lot of people have this misconception of marriage, like there are two phases to a relationship: before marriage, and after marriage. But what is marriage really except the legal (and/or religious) committment to someone you have probably already committed to a thousand times over?

I think that the idea of a couple 'saving sex before marriage' or of a woman 'denying sex to the man so he is forced to marry her first' is ridiculous. If you are in a loving, stable relationship, your partner is going to continually want to be with you. A worthy partner will want to marry you no matter your sexual past, their sexual past, your sexual history together, and any other factor. Denying yourself and your partner from enjoying sex will just put a lot of strain on the relationship. It will put pressure on the both of you to jump into marriage too quickly just for sex, and it will hinder relationship bonding.

But always remember to practice safe sex, no matter your choice.

What does marriage imply? She chose you to love give you commitment, fidelity. So have that to begin a marriage and you waited show respect.
Than you have discovery of physical love that can be very romantic after marriage vows. Sex before what does that imply? Does show you that you are the one to love, no you know that you are horny Does it show you the person is committed to you? no. Are you sure of fidelity ? no again. Also things can get complicated and confusing for you if the guy or girl you with. What are boundaries they things you should do for wife/husband that should not do for a girl/boyfriend and the laws are written that only wife/husband have certain rights. Things like bank accounts, insurance, social security, pensions, hospitals cars homes, even funerals etc... Right. there you have it. Sex before marriage always always complicates things and you have no rights to that person life to help them even if you do love them. The law does not recognize you as significant until at least seven provable years that you are together.

I think sex before marriage is a yes.... Try before you buy and all that jazz....

You have to know you are compatible in all areas before agreeing to be married. I know people say sex doesnt matter, and to a point it doesnt, but i think it should be included in the whole spectrum of getting to know a person....

I am not at all religious, but how can you tell someone to leave there religious veiws out of it, if thats there reason then that is there reason, they dont have an opinion beyond that because they dont need one really..... ? They would not have thought about "what if i wasent religious" because they are religious... Its like asking someone to leave there personality out of a question, i really don't think it can be done...

If you don't have sex before you are married you might miss out on great love making and never experience it. On the other hand if you have never had anyone else how can you tell. I slept with many married women and they all say the same thing "that's what everyone is talking about" then they fall in love and I have to end it. Happy Holidays!!!

I think it helps prepare you for married life. I think that the No Sex Before Marriage Thing really applies only to those who aren't serious about each other. I think that once a couple gets engaged, it's important to find out if they're sexually compatible for not.

I've never been married but I really think you're missing out on life if you don't have sex. I mean, think about this rationally? Do you really think you're going to go to HELL if you have sex?

Sex is fun and it's a great way to bond with a partner and have fun. Would you really want to marry someone only to find out that you're not compatible in the bedroom?

Take it from someone who knows. Variety is great. Knowing is better than dreaming.

I think it made it better for me. You know your wife more intimately if you have sex before marriage, although I would say that too much sex before marriage can make the marriage worse.
