he feels that he will ruin the relasionship because he's to shy. i keep telling him he could never, but he really is extremly shy. i like him alot...and he likes me alot. i just dont see why he could be shy with me. i just dont know what to do. should i just give him time?
any tips on making him calm down?

Why ? Don't tell me men are pigs but most are not. I think
biologically it is much easier for women not to have extramarital sex then men.

Ok long story short. I live with my grandparents and aunt in NV and my aunt hit, kicked, and shoved me. I told my mom and she said don't tell anything to my grandma cause she could get really stressed and have another heart attack. But my grandma found out and I have decided to go live back with my mom. The only thing is that I have to share a room with my brother cause they changed the hole house after I left and my room has my sisters in it now. She won't give me my own room back and go back to how it used to be. My brother and I really don't get along no matter how hard i try to ignore him and i just want a place to go to so i can get away from all the yelling and screaming in my house cause i have 4 siblings. Here with my grandparents I have my own room and they told my aunt never to touch me again, but she will probably start something in the future which will stress out my grandma. And here i can take care of my grandma incase anything happens. What should i do?

I am 17, a senior in high school with a younger sibling, my dad is an emotionally abusive alcoholic. An alcoholic so much so that he drives 1 1/2 hours to go to his favorite bar where he drinks all day long, and when he is ready my mom and I go to the bar to pick him up....we park and I go into the bar where I wait until he is ready and I find someone to help me carry him out to the car. After we leave, one of us rides with him and other one drives the other vehicle we drove and we start home....it always ends with him angry, us frustrated or sad, him belittling or pestering us to our last end, or sometimes he is really mushy and just wants to snuggle with everyone......I've dealt with this since I was 3.....how do I keep it from bugging me and how do I deal with it for my sibling when I go to college next year??? No wise cracks please....it isn't funny.

friends that that take ADVANTAGE of you
friends that just ignore you and want your attention when then they need help but completely ignore you when you ask them something
friends that don't believe/trust you

friends that lie&pretend&make you believe something not real/exaggerate like allergies n make you believe
i hate it when ppl have personalities like that i mean I'm always the person whos the nice one and them the mean ppl
it gets so annoying when they do that n the worst thing is i cant stand up for myself it makes me hate them

Ive never had a girlfriend, never had a first kiss, and obviously never had sex.

For the past year I've been putting alot of pressure on myself, I worked myself into a depression that I've finally gotten out of, and now nothing's changed?

I'm still shy but it's getting better. I'm not looking for a gf just so I can have sex.. I want the simple things that relationships provide. I want to be able to sit and talk with someone and actually have fun just wasting away the night talking. Stuff like this I seem to miss out on because I'm so quiet. It seems as if I'm also left out on alot of things because my friends just forget about me when I'm not around since I'm shy. I know people dont consider me ugly, all my friends with boyfriends have said they would date me.

I'm not legally seprated from my husband. He just told me that he's moving back to Ga. in a one bedroom apartment and he wants to get our 15 month daughter for a couple of months. I feel as if I have been doing things wrong in my life. I think it might be because I am a little paranoid about things. For instance, if I'm talking to a friend and thy act even the tiniest bit weird I think that they hate me or something. Also, I have no confidence or self-belief what so ever. I think that I'm at the bottom of a pit and I can't get out. I feel that if I told my best friend, the person i trust the most, about my problems he would hate me forever. As well as this, my best friend is moving far, far away. I don't know how I'm going to be able to handle when he moves. The thing is, i have moved around so much - i never stayed in a place for longer than 3 years at the most. However, i have stayed in this location for just over 7 years, and have built up a really good friendship. I just dont want to lose that. Also, because of my lack of self-confidence, i dont have the courage to ask any of my friends to do anything with me (go and hang out and stuff). Can someone help?

aside from moving out, how do you get over someone?

I've tried keeping busy!
I've tried finding another lover!
I've tried winning him back over!
I've tried fully ignoring him!

But nothing for me seems to work. Yes I have a choice to move out but right now it's not an option, and the same goes for him. The thing that really sucks the most is the fact that I have to get over a guy that I live with and at the same time put up with him and his "bf" flaunting their affection right in the front of me. The negative vibes are filling the air and I just want to move on like he did.

Every advice would be greatful. And though it's easy to say "just move on" it's harder than you actually think it is to do when you live with your ex.

I got married with this man who loves his family, especially his mother very much since she brought him/his sibling up almost by herself.

We've been married for a year; I came to the U.S. three years ago where is none of my family living. I came from a broken family, and I've been barely talking to my father over 5 years. I've always wanted to be in a marriage where I could feel secure and connected to my spouse, and spend time together a lot.

My husband is very independent person, and do things independently too. For him, being with one person all the time is not natural. He would go to see his family/friends as much as possible for weekends.

Since he is 32 y.o, he has so many important things and responsibility in his life and he cannot put me first or the biggest concern, or make me his most important person in his life.

He is my most important person in my life though I love my friends and family. Is wishing to be the most important person in a spouse's life is insane?
