can any1 help i have this evil M.I.L in march 2006 i got pregnant and i moved into my patrners mums and dad house everything was great!! until towards the end of my pregnancy she started taking over i never chose my pram my M.I.L she always made the decisions when the baby was born and when you give the baby his first bath and bonding and stuff me and my partner coulnt have tht time togethner with our new baby cuz she was there and didnt allow it .when the baby wud cry she wud snatch him away frm me and tell me tht she wud get social services on me & my partner if i didnt do wot she wanted i told my boyfriend about it and he tried and now my sons 11mnths old and she still goes on now my boyfriend always listens to his mum and aggressive with me i feel like im on my own no support frm my partner she has wrecked my life i cant forgive her ever is tht evil ?all i wanted to be was a family and MUM wot should i do truthly thankyou xxxx

I have become very self-conscious since the past 2 -3 years....even my mother tells me that i don't have a confident look on my face.Well i did feel bad at first but later on realised that wat she said was for my good and it was true as well. When i asked my relatives they said that i should participate in competitions , debates, etc in school to build confidence. It seems so easy for them to tell all this....but im really not a bold person. I'm under peer pressure....my class is full of scholars and some girls who are snobbish...i try not to let them affect my life and studies but sometimes i feel that they are very confident. Infact most of the teachers know them and even the prefects.....some of them look so good that i feel conscious of my looks....i don't want to copy them but many times unknowingly i end up doing so....im so caught up trying to please others that i feel that im losing my originality......please suggest some ways in which i can regain my confidence.

A few weeks ago I asked my mom and sisters about Thanksgiving and they said they didn't know what they were going to do. Last week I called my mom and she told me all of my sisters were going to her place and they were all bringing food and they had everything planned out. No one called to tell me and my mom changed the subject. Last night one of my sister's called and asked what was I bringing to mom's and I told her I don't know, no one told me anything about it. Then she called my mom and called me back going off about how I never call them and I need to call mom. I do call my mom and sisters, but they hardly ever answer. So I called my mom twice and she never answered her phone. Some friends of mine invited me to share Thanksgiving with them. I think I should go to see my friends. I just don't want to even deal with my sisters and mom. What would you do?

Having been single for a few years - and liking it - i am now going out with someone from my work ( This is the 3rd work relationship i have had- not in the same workplace though each have been different jobs). The trouble is i dont know how to teel my dad. Each time i go out with someone he goes mental. my last relationship was for 2 and a half years. and everyday was a nightmare with my dad, he turned to drink and was very jealous of my boyfreind. He threatened to change locks if a went out at night and things like that.

I am an only child and my mum died when i was young so he is very protective over me. Evrytime i go out with my boyfriend i have to ly and say im going out with my mates. I hate lying and want to just tell him but nobody seems to understand what trouble its going to cause.

Im 28 and my boyfriend is 20. that alone will cause arrguments and that fact we work together will just add to it. Youd think he'd want to see me settled and happy. please help

A crusty old Marine Sergeant Major found himself at a gala event hosted by a local liberal arts college. There was no shortage of extremely young idealistic ladies in attendance, one of whom approached the Sergeant Major for conversation.

we just got married on Nov. 5th of this year. We have never had trust issues in the past. Here and there he enjoys playing hold em at the casino and when he goes, he stays for HOURS! well, he gets off work last night and calls me to tell me he and the guys will be at the casino playing poker. This was around 10pm. It is now 4:53 AM and he is not home and his phone is OFF!!!!!!!!!! Here starts the doubts with me. Anytime he has gone to the casino before, I could ALWAYS reach him. Now I am scared and upset because even if he is at the casino, its thanksgiving and we will be with my family today & he is going to be all tired.

This really hurts right now. Now I can't sleep :(
