I sent a birthday gift and special card to someone i really really care about. they should have it by now, sent in the postal mail. Shouldn't they write an email or phone me to say they got it? What should I do now? PLEASE HELP>

my boyfriend and i have been dating for about 6 months and i am now suspecting he is smoking.

i dont like smokers, it makes me sick and i never thought he would be one to smoke...

he knows that i dont like smokers and knows i wouldnt tolerate smoking and that i couldnt date anyone who smokes...
does he just want to split apart? if so why hide it from me?

how can i find out if he truely cares about me and is not smoking?

Ok so Im 22 and its been quiet a while since I had sex (about 2 & half years) and Ive decided to get back in the game.
For the time being Im looking for a "just the once" thing to end the celibacy. Im not looking for a relationship just someone Im attracted to that I can have sex with.
First off Im a little nervous about the sex part...is there anything new I should know about??
And secondly whats the best way to ask for a one night stand...I dont want to come across as trampy so if I meet a fella out and take him home do I tell him straight up Im not looking for anything serious or just let it roll...

My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half already, I thought everything was just fine, but one day out of the blue he told me he doesn't want us to be labeled as boyfriend and girlfriend any longer. He told me that he needs to concentrate with his career/education more and that a girlfriend will only limit his option. So I figured we should end our relationship because he doesn't want the commitment, but he said that he still want me to be there for me and that he's not looking for someone to replace me. We live together so it's impossible for us to be friends only. we live and work together so I know he's not cheating on or planning to replace me ( he said so him self ). We have a house together that we both bought so it's a little hard for us to just separate because of legal matters. So I don't know how to act around him...should I act like i'm his girlfriend or just act like i'm his friend? So should I leave him or should I stay and be patience? Please help me!

why is living so hard, why does problem exist, isn't there a time when you just expected things to happen and you wanted this to happen and by someone's decision it just all falls apart and something you just feel so loose and about to fall, then you just have to question the guy upstairs why this has to happen. i read this quote saying that God gave us twist and turn and sometime we just have to enjoy the twist and turn that God layed for us, but what if theres a time when you just don't enjoy living, what do you do, do you just kill yourself and commit suicide, Omg thats like so stupid,but what do you really do about it, how do you fix your life when you just don;t know what to do and how to start fixing it. okay here's one what do you do when you just waited for something really really important and this important can really change your life into something great, and then something happen and it just chages everything, and you find yourself so lost and you have no clue what do..

I want to put a really romantic message inside my boyfriends (22nd) birthday card. We have been together for over a year and a VERY serious and VERY in love. We plan to spend the rest of our lives together. I really like this guy, I'm semi-sure he likes me. I want to know if the following is considered a date, in your eyes, please.
- I invited him to the movies this Friday, as a sort of bday 'party' (mine).
- I'm paying for the tickets.
- It's just us going, no other friends of mine.
- We've been friends for 3 years, not best friends, just friends.

I really respect my dad and love him dearly. Yet, I can't find the words to tell him this. We don't talk much because of his job but when I try to talk to him it just feels awkward. It maybe because we never really talked but did activities like sports together instead. We never really had a father-son talk. It is also because he is a traditional Japanese dad and if I do tell him I love him in Japanese, it isn't going to come out right. I think it's a cultural thing since my other Japanese friends can't find the right words to say this. I don't want to regret not telling him how I feel. It's easy to tell my mom that I love her because she is pretty americanized, but it is hard to do so with my dad. Any advice or suggestions?

We both like one another alot, but it is very clear to me that she is still in love with her X. The interesting thing is that when she dated him she was still in love with her X before that. To make it more interesting they were all engaged. We are both 20. So it goes like this:

Timeline:

Countless previous BFs that were meaningless
X1 - Dumped him after 3 years
X2 - While Together still was in love with X1; in the end dumped after 1 year

Does anyone know of any good tips on how to find out if he really is cheating. I need evidence so I can prove it. Right. ive liked this girl for some time now and i came out of a long term relationship of 4 and a half years two months ago. Do you think sex is a necessary component of a satisfying, full life? Obviously most people wouldn't want to give it up, but is it necessary, or just desired? If someone elderly admitted to you that they were still a virgin, would it alter your perception of them? If your immediate reaction is to say "you can't have a full life without some sexual experience", do you think this is just because you enjoy sex, or do you really believe it to be valuable above physical pleasure?

I myself think it's a central feature of human experience, and the elemental reason for our existence, and that to miss out on it would be a great personal loss. I'm interested to know what you all think.

She diserted almost four years ago, took my kids and assets with her. Now she brokes and asked me to accept her as my wife again. I love the kids and I do love my girlfriend too...I already forgive her, but impossible to accept her as my wife again since her moral characters is very low.
