Today I went out and I went to the bookstore in Borders... As I was going down the escalator, he was going up and waved and said "hello" to me and I said "hey" back, and I couldn't really continue seeing I was going down and he was going up. And then later on weirdly, I met him again for the second time. That never happened before and I didn't notice till he yelled at me because he was in the car, and then he smiled at me and I smiled back. What kind of fool is he? After that he just left. He could have continued the conversation. If he wasn't interested, then he shouldn't have done any of those things at all. What is the point? Why can't guys approach me? Why do they always give chances to other girls that are gonna break their heart and then groan saying nice guys finish last? It pisses me off! What else am I supposed to do? Finally a decent guy who I was attracted to bravely made a contact... and we even met twice on the same day... and he didn't ask me out...

I think I figured out why this is, I'm Japanese and when I first saw Lord of the Rings I kept telling myself "wait didn't that white guy with the beard just die in the last scene"...but then when I came to the States and spent more time around whites, I realized that they look really different. The point is I think that the more time you spend submerged in a certain culture, the more you will notice the differences of the individual. Has anyone not found this true? Although there maybe certain groups of people that look alike due to intribe marriages. Also I think the reason why whites may seem very different is because Europe has so many small countries and the people in the mixed around areas but the original people of that area would look similar. And in America..well its comprised of all different sorts of Europeans. If you traveled to the north and south of China or Japan, it would be the same it's just because the area is so vast people tend to stay around the same places.

Here is the situation. I am dating someone who I have to let go. When we first started dating it was every once in awhile. She is a nice woman who is looking for love, but she also one of the most boring people I know. Ironically, although boring, she is passionate about putting the pressure on me to get married (mind you we are both divorced). She wants to have another child (she has one and I have two from prev relationships) and I dont want anymore children. For the last couple of months I have been debating on how to let her know that my heart is not in it anymore, but I usually chicken out at the last minute. The one thing I know is that I cannot start the New Year dating this woman anymore. Any suggestions on how to gracefully bow out would be appreciated. I wanted to tell her that I was moving out of state, but knowing her she would quit her job and follow right after. Please help!!!!!!! :-(

okay well my husbend drive a semi an he is out 6 weeks at a time an he is doing this owner operator thing. so taxes dont come out he has to pay them out of his own pocket. we are paying for a washer n dryer an a fridge an cable an phone / internet an rent an all that good stuff well i pay all the bills an hardly have anything left b/c he has a 600.00 truck payment . so he says not to pay all the bills an let stuff go back so he can pay taxes so he dont go to jail . but cant he take a loss an with claming me because i dont work an our son he should be okay. so im not gonna let our fridge go an washer n dryer because we need those . but cable n phone n internet is fine to go thats an extra . but how can he expect me to let the others go . all i do is pay bill with very little money to grocery shop. he says its up to me as what to do becuase i take care of the bills he is out there working. he has cussed me an everything if i lose the fridge whata re we gonna eat .

A work acquaintance is getting married next June and is very excited that she has been able to plan the entire event herself. She has decided to have some of the following at her wedding reception:

Red Hots, Fiery Buffalo Nuts, tuna casserole, and gallon jugs of water on every table, with foil wedding stickers on the jugs. Oh, and Tic-Tac breath mints.

Brides: Do we shut up or speak up? Several of us have offered to help with the food and she has turned us down, citing she wishes to do everything on her own.

Wedding RECEPTION in Southern California?
I need reception SITES so badly!!!! We already had our ceremony, now it's time to party. We live in southern Ca. The south Bay, actually, if you are familiar with the area. We are looking at February/March of next year for an affordable (read: $3,000-$6,000-MAYBE slightly more...) reception venue. We want to have our own catering, a dance floor, and that's about it... AFFORDABLE ideas please of WHERE I can do this. Links appreciated. I just really need some help here! :D Would PREFER South Bay and Los Angeles ideas over OC venues due to travel time. I just recently got out of a long relationship with a 19 year old girl who went off to college. Im a 22 year old guy who goes to college and bartends and lives at home. The girl I like I've known for a while, and she is also another bartender who works with me at a little dive bar in my hometown. We started hanging out and stuff and I now find myself really falling for her. She said she likes me too but shes a hard person to get let her guard down and is scared of wht people will say about our ages. Before marrying the fruitcake, i only knew him for 4 months so his "mental problems" were not apparent. Several months later we divorced, BUT i was 7 months preggo at the time.
He never offered any help whatsoever while I was pregnant. During that time I moved into my own place, worked full time till the day i
delivered, and did everythign on my own from the time separated till now. My son is now 8 months old and his father has been NO help financially towads my son. In fact, he fears the state is after him (they arent cause I havent filed for anything) so I found out thru his family that he won't work and hasnt ince his birth. In fact, he's staying at homeless shelters in his car, etc. just so he looks broke in case he gets served wth papers. The reason I havent filed is because I dont want im getting visitation cause he can't even take care of himself, so how could he take care of my boy?? His name is not on the birth certificate for obvious reasons...

Alright when i was 15 i had a cousin named amy.We both had a myspace.That was the only way we could stay connected cause she lived in portugal and i lived in california.Then one day i was on myspace and she haden't been on for a year.I emailed her and tryed everything but she'd never replied back.Four days ago i looked at her myspace and she hasen't been on for four days.Then i looked her up on people search and it said "Amy Ponceano Deceased Age 23".That's when i went online and searched portugal's news and it turns out 2years ago a car with my cousin (amy) and her boyfriend (henery)Were driving in a foggy night when they drove into a lake and drowned.I am depressed and my mom and my family dosen't know my cousin and her boyfriend soon to be husband is dead.How can i tell then without makeing them break down crying.

my wife and i always clash and we had a problem that made us lose interests about each other (as a result we lost communication). i married her last year. i need some tips about starting a conversation (SPECIALLY FROM LADIES) also, i believe in change i think some day she will change her behaviour with me to the better.

-my problem with her is that she do not accept my views and ideas about our house and future plans. she sees that her mentality is better than mine.

I was dating this guy for 4 years he did a lot of bad things to me but i thought i was so much in love with him. When answering, please give your first and second reaction. My husband and I haven't had sex for 2 months...(First reaction answer here...) He works 2 full time jobs. 1st and 3rd shift and he works everyday of the week...EVERYday. He goes in on Sunday at 7pm gets off at 7:30am goes to 2nd job 8am gets off at 2pm comes home goes to bed and gets up at 8 to be at work by 9 Tues-Fri. Mind you, I work 8-5 M-F so by the time I get home he's already asleep. Now, just recently, he's been listening to any and everybody (but me) and they are saying that if you haven't had sex then SOMEbody is cheating. So now I'm being accused of cheating. We dated for two months over the summer and had a really great time whenever we were around one another. We never got into any arguments until we decided we would try to stay together when she left for school. She came home after being at school for three weeks and said she wanted to take a break. I kind of got the feeling it was coming so to make it easier for her I just said ok and we kind of stopped talking. Looking back on it now, if I begged for her to stay she probably would have because she still had feelings for me (could go into detail how I know this but it'd take too long). Now we've kind of started talking again, maybe once or twice a week online for maybe five minutes at a time. It's really nice talking to her but I don't think I could just be friends with her.

So how could I talk to her about us, not getting back together in a steady relationship but, dating like we were in the summer with no real commitment?

My boyfriend and I have been invited to four different places for Thanksgiving. My moms, my dad's, his dad's, and his mom's. I work 6a-2p on Thanksgiving Day and do NOT feel like going all over. Either does he. How do we satisfy everyone? His step mom is kind of a b*tch and I think will be irritated if we don't show up, but my boyfriend said he just wants to go to my Mom's and I wouldn't mind just doing that either.
