It's not the age difference that's as bad as the maturity it takes to commit to a relationship. If they get along, etc. there is no law that says they cannot be together. If he was 16 and she was 22, I would say "NO WAY", but at the current ages they are both adults.

The true test will come after the 2 year hump. Being that you did not give a lot of detail into the nature of the both of you it is kind of hard to give anything less than a generic answer. However usually after 24 months, you know enough to know whether or not the relationship has some structure for something long term. When I was 24 I was immature, but not all guys are like that. Just know that a 30 yr old woman and a 24 yr old man usually are at different levels. Most 30 year old women want to settle down and start thinking about marriage, kids, etc.... and most 24 yr old men still want to have fun

That age difference does not matter if you both love each other. We all know that age is nothing but a number .Do you really know what matters most?it is what you two feel for each other so if you think that he is immature and you cant deal with it then that's not true love. For true love you love someone for who they are and take them as they are.Don't think that you can change him that will be hard.So if you love him then the age gap is nothing to be looking at.I know of a couple where the guy is now in his 30s and the lady is in the 60s.So now what do you think?

All I have to say is that the woman better have good self esteem because it's inevitable that younger girls (10 years younger) will hit on him. If this is a worrying factor than I'd say she should try dating a real man.
However in time the older you both become the less the age difference will actually matter.

It's not a huge age difference, but at the end of the day, it depends on the 2 people involved. A friend of mine is 41 and her boyfriend is 35; they've been together for years.

No, not unless you're in India. Because we freaks have more to worry about than same sex marriages.... We have to worry about arranged marriages, a concept totally illogical :P
I am 22, and I loved a girl who's 26. We were together for a while. I loved her, and she loved me, and we were in the most beautiful phase of our lives. Her parents are now forcing her to get married to a total stranger. India is also a country where girls cannot refuse their fathers for much. So I have nearly lost her.

Bad for whom?
The man or the woman?
As the woman gets older she may feel insecure about the fact that he is younger.
Depends on their compatability I guess.
Age differences do make things very hard for couples as the older one gets 'older'.
Hey clown.. I bet the guy won't be with the woman when she turns 70!!
