Ever since I found this website my self-esteem has dropped dramatically. I used to be spunky, upbeat, kind, always wanting to make people happy. Now I find myself gloomy, depressed and unsatisfied. I need to become more confident, and more assure of myself. Which is hard since I'm a mixed black girl and everyone seems to hate us and find us ugly, loud, unattractive, living off of welfare. Now, as a teen black girl I don't feel pretty at all and no matter how many times people tell me I'm pretty I just can't believe it. I drive boys away because I'm so sad all the time... people on here basically say why bother whites, hawaiians, latinas, asians are sooo much better anyways. I just feel so inadequate I really like someone (who's white) but he probably would never like me. Why do I even exist? I do well in school and try my best to be successful but now I feel why do I even try? I don't mean to be dramatic it's just what this site has done to me.

Seven years ago, I was working in an office as a receptionist, and at the time I was dating someone for five years. I then met someone at the office, with whom I developed a crush. We exchanged numbers, but have never contacted one another.
I figured he probably thought I was still dating. Even though that relationship ended months after my contract as a receptionist was up.
I just can't stop thinking about him (office crush) and I'm not sure if calling now after so many years, my come across as being too awkward. What should I do.?

Additional details to the questions:
"My gf and I have been together for 9 months, and I really love her alot. We planned to get engaged next year, and we wanted marriage as soon as possible.......However, our relationship was peppered with disagreements and things happened which hurted us.......I love very much too, and I still want her back. Do you feel that our relationship could be repaired, and I need her back?........"

My gf and I have put aside our own differences and promised to work out any future problems that may come. We have decided to continue our relationship =) For those of you whom have answered to those questions, thanks for your advice =)

I am developing deeper feelings for a guy. The attraction was always SO strong between us and he turns me on like NO ONE before. The problem is, he is a pothead. He has been smoking for years everyday and I feel like he has no emotion. He comes across like a rock. We spent last night together and he told me he has feelings for me, but he said he doesn't want a relationship. I don't understand how he can say he has feelings for me but doesn't wanna be with me as more than friends. The problem I have is with him being a pothead. I feel like he has SO much potential and he is so smart, but the weed and other drugs have fogged his brain. He doesn't wanna stop doing drugs. This hurts me so much because I care bout him deeply and I can see us having a relationship if he would just change and start caring more. I know he has feelings for me, I can tell and feel it. I am a full time college student and provide for my family with loans. My husband doesnt work and stays home with baby. I am on my last year of Bachelors and he has stayed home since baby has been born. He says he will get custody because he has spent more time with her and my family background isn't too great.

This girl i liked, i added her on facebook and myspace. Few days passed and she didnt even accepted me. And yes she got online during those days b/c when i check if she added she had the online now symbol.
So days pass and still no add then this is my question.
Did i do good for losing complete interest in her and ignoring her 100% like she doesnt exist?

When I meet women in the city and mention that I'm from San Rafael, it always seems to be a deal breaker, even when I add that I spend most of my free time in the city (which is true.) I'm thinking about moving to the beautiful town of Sausalito to be closer to the place I love (San Francsico) but not too far from the place I work (in San Rafael.) Sausalito's right across the bridge. Still too far to date a great guy? :)

I didn't pursue him. Well, not really. I flirted with him but I never acted on anything. He came to me. He kissed me first. He told me things about his marriage and his wife that made him miserable. He called me. He arranged times for us to meet each other. He initiated the sex. He told me that he loved me. He charmed the pants off of me (literally)! He said all of the things that I needed and wanted to hear. He used me for sex and then he bailed on me when things got tough.

So, why am I entirely to blame for everything? I wasn't there by myself. Why doesn't he get blamed for his part?

ok i have a friend who drives a awsom 94 ford escort, dark blue cool rims etc.my "friend" offers to let me borrow the vehicle for awhile if i do nauty stuff with them. kind of like a trade and i REALLY need a car cause mine got impounded a few months ago an I been on the streets walkin to get everyone except for the buss sometimes. so I agree to whats going on an I figure "owell whats an hour gonna do - im getting better done in the long run" so were in the car doin "adult stuff" behind the local kmart [which is closed down] an all of a sudden a cop guy comes up all quick after he sees us. we i had to go jail (thats why I wasnt on here for 2 days) and now I have to go to court and I think now im bein on the sexual offenders list. THIS IS HORRABLE!!!!!! The person I was with started to RUN AWAY what a wuss and duh got caut. so im wonderin will i get off the hook when I see a judge? I know im gonna get a public defender but im thinkin I should come clean and to get him in trouble more.

1. I Called her cute couple of times, 1-2 times every couple of days.. to give her hints.
For example she would ask me what shoe looks better on me, and i would say everything looks good
on you, your too cute. Etc. She seems to shy away from these comments, looks away or ignored i said it,
but doesnt seem like a "get out of my face" look or anything.

2. I would joke around make fun of stuff shes self-concisous about herself, i call her chubby
in a joking manner, she would laugh hit me in the arm, but i dont overdo it.

3. I would flirt by making stupid bets, saying if i sold this item today u gotta buy me a dinner, etc...
She would laff and say what about my bf? I say who cares?? she laffs (it shows i aint
scared, hopefully) Later that nite she sold the product i was suppose to sell (go figure) i asked her to
buy me dinner, she said haha i sold it though, and then i said then ill buy dinner,
she looked at me smiling and said ok haha..and said im a buy something expensive and laffed.

I called the number back and nobody will answer even on a different phone that I use. I told him i DID NOT WANT to carry on anymore with it and he told me to just lay low for a little bit until it cools down w/his wife. He also said that he still wanted to talk to me & he is still gonna text me and asked me if i work this weekend b/c its a gym and he works out there. I guess he wants to see me? All I am asking is... I started on this site not too long ago. I kept getting these private messages from another user on here and we have been pretty hot and heavy on the messages. He wants me to buy a plane ticket and move in with him but he lives 300 miles away.
The thing is he really seems dreamy. I haven't seen him before but he said he looks like his avatar picture, which I must say looks pretty sexy. A little cartoony, but he says he looks good.

I used to have a shyness towards strangers now I find Im actually shy towards my friends. I think its conscious thoughts from puberty where I dont want them to think bad of me or something anyway Im a very quite guy around my best friends now because of this. However Im also shy around girls and look hopeless to them. Today at the bus stop I was waiting with my friend when this girl I like came and said hi to both of us. It seems like his drinking has gotten worse since he retired. We can't even have a nice day ever beacuse he is always bitching about what my mom makes for dinner. And her meals are good too! I hate seeing him belittle her. And now tonight, mhelping make thanksgiving dinner he comes home drunk (which he is usually drunk by this time at home anyways) and is swearing around my daughter (his granddaughter) and being a buligerant jerk. Please do not even suggest a inertvention or rebahd or AA. It wont ever happen, he is to old and stubborn. He would seriously have to be drugged and kidnapped to be taken their.

We pray for it to and we pray for him to find God. Thats all we can do. But I can't stand this anymore. Its not right the way he acts around my daughter. By the way we are living he temp. Can anyone share some exp they have with this kind of thing? Thanks in advance.
