When I meet women in the city and mention that I'm from San Rafael, it always seems to be a deal breaker, even when I add that I spend most of my free time in the city (which is true.) I'm thinking about moving to the beautiful town of Sausalito to be closer to the place I love (San Francsico) but not too far from the place I work (in San Rafael.) Sausalito's right across the bridge. Still too far to date a great guy? :)

Yes, it matters! A) The 20-something dating scene in Marin sucks! B) I'm planning to move to the city eventually, so it'd be nice to meet someone already settled in down there.

Why not. There's no problem from where you are. You just have to be a good gentleman.
