Someone once told me to marry a man who loves you just a bit more than you love him. Anyone agree with this advice? Why or why not?

Best advice is to love a man who won't cheat on you, if one actually exists.

I get where whoever gave this advice but I don't agree with it one bit. You should marry someone who loves with every fiber of his soul as you do in turn. Then again, I tend to be idealistic to a fault.

Choosing a man? lol..it seems like this is a multiple choice question..

but to answer the question, well, if you ask a man (or a person) "Who do you love most?" if she/he answers..
"of course YOU HONEY"..that's a lie..

Who do you love most is "YOURSELF" because you can't love others..if you don't really love yourself..

now to your question..it is really doesn't matter if who among you loves deeper..what really matter is the truthfulness..is it came from heart or from mouth..so it is you can judge it..

i tell you i love you more than your bf do..will you believe me?
i guess not because you believe i am lying..just like that..

this is nonsense...marry whom you want to marry not who you think loves you more then you love them. You can't go by rules like this..you need to set your own rules not go by others.

I agree w/ MiMi! Besides what if he (the right one for you) is trying to do the same thing?
