I told a guy that i liked him by text and he replied by saying he was seeing someone but wanted us to become good friends, before i told him this we text nearly every day i havent text him nor has he me for nearly a week should i text him?

don't text him. Ive been in this situation twice. When they are seeing someone else it makes it awkward for them to text you. Its best to leave it and let him text you when he has the chance. If you text him it could ruin what the relationship he has with someone else and he might not be happy with you. Be happy that he wants to be good friends. I know it hurts but its better to be friends than nothing at all.

If you want - but consider the fact that he may have told his GF about what you said - and may be laeving things alone for a while.
By all means tell him that you do like hom but make it clear that you will not get involved while he is seeing someone and that you would still like to be his friend but you are going to step back a little

Yes, it would be okay cause if you'll not text him he will think that ull mad at him and sometimes the patient one gets the award so continue to be friendly with him
