We used to be very close, I straddled on his shoulder, I could yell at him, bit his arm when I got angry...he fulfilled my every wish, never scold me, not to mention physical punishment.

It suddenly stopped when I hit 7, he became a complete different person, hot got harsh, stern and strict on me, it was almost happened on one night, I had to do homeworks that he "assigned", he forced me to study hard, forced to learn extra math and science lessons on Saturday and Sunday, If my grades dropped a little bit, he would picked on me for hours, even worse, I would got spankings, no matter if I did something wrong or grades dropped....I was scared of him

We got further and further emotionally when I grew up, and I centainly don't want to bring up my BF thing, which happened when I was 14, all I can tell you is I got a slap, then grounded for 2 months.

Now I'm 24, he wants to make up, though I still live with him, I barely talk to him, I don't want to, I think I no longer love him any more.

First of all, the fact that you haven't stated that you hate him means that you still love him. If you want to know what changed in your relationship, the person to ask is him... he is the only person who knows.

If you still live with him, at 24, I would think that things with him are not too unbearable, and he is family. I would hope that you could try to put your past aside, and stop licking old wounds long enough to give him a chance... I would give anything to just spend one more day with my father, and he passed on almost eight years ago.

While it may be difficult to forget, he is asking you to forgive. Give yourself time and space, but make progress in this relationship before it's too late and you regret not trying to salvage what may be left.

Good luck!

Then you need to sit down with him and tell him that. Tell him exactly what you've told us.... perhaps with some communication, you'll be either to forgive him and have some kind of relationship, or you will choose not too.

Grow up. He is your parent. He was trying to teach you responsibility, and make sure that you got a decent education.
