i am a strong character i will not have a man walk over me- i admit in the past i did but not now! i stand my ground and wont back down, trouble is my man's the same personality as me and so we clash and have some heated arguments, the sex is great tho but the arguing is driving me mad he wants to wear the trousers and so do i! lol how do we sort this as he says he wont bow down which winds me up more!

If you are going to live with someone, you have to compromise. Ideally, both of you do the compromising so you get along together equally and don't step on eachothers' toes, but if that doesn't happen then one of you DEFINTELY has to if you wish to stay together. Otherwise, once the sex starts to get less exciting, what have you got left?

My husband and I are the same way! Compromise is key... you each have to let the other win ocassionally. If you know it's male ego related, bow out and let him win the fight. Just remember, there are always several battles before the war!
I am a strong personality too, and this is what I do to keep the peace at my house.
