I would say there's not a good thing of being single.. I'm on my own for over a year now.. and I really miss to have someone on my side.. I think life is easier if you can share good & bad times..
The only thing that's positive - you can find yourself - sometimes people get lost in relationships - forget about their own needs ! Changed too much for a partner. I come from a very long relationship and the year was good to see what I want and what Iam.. but now I know and really wanna fall in love again ;))

it all depends on what you make it out to be.
if you think it allows to have more freedom, independence, motivation, etc. then sure... perhaps it does.
but if being with someone else makes you feel just the same way- then what is so great about being single??
marinate on that.
