I'm smart; I'm fun; I'm outgoing. I love the arts, film, good music, laughing...
But I'm plain and guys find me repulsive. I'm in college and one day soon, heading to law school. I think I might intimidate guys, but I don't mean to!!
I just don't think intelligent, ambitious guys with a passion for cinema exist...I don't care about looks that much, but I'm young and obviously need someone within my demographic.
Maybe I'm just shy, but guys eagerly pass me over even though I smile, laugh and make direct, freakin eye-contact!!! =) Maybe I just scare them away...

and why is it considered snobbish to prefer men with a stable, good job? Honestly, such a qualification would be necessary in tomorrow's world.

You are not repulsive at all...First thing get that out of your head...You are obviously intelligent and you are an attractive young woman ( I'm nearly old enough to be your father). Just relax and do not stress about dating....Have you heard the saying "when it rains it pours" ( used in an old salt commercial) ..well that saying has come to mean a number of things, but in a relationship sense it means , "as soon as you are in a serious relationship, all the other guys suddenly seem interested " ( the same story with guys/women become more attracted) ...The reasoning for this is basic: you are already in a happy fulfilling relationship and that energy exudes from you, so the trick is to "put that energy out there" even if you are not in a relationship... Even as a guy, I have to admit a new hairstyle ,or even sunglasses can give me a boost and I've already had a career for years...

So all of this means do what it takes to bring that positive glowing person forward without "forcing" a smile--- and perhaps a fun new hairstyle and new outfit would be uplifting...For certain ..a fun kind of loose curly look on woman with your coloring is sure appealing to me ( it seems to convey a fun -upbeat outlook) ...Good luck with all in your life...But be happy with yourself and do not push it..The guys are out there and DON' T you dare lower yourself... Unfortunately some young and even older men are "scared" a bit by an intelligent ,outgoing woman, but if that is the case-- this is not the type of man you want anyway....You want someone who can "spar" with you and is not intimidated by your strengths...

Maybe you're just trying a tad too hard? I realize this is a total cliche`, but just be yourself, and don't come on too strong. I promise you, you'll find someone.
There ARE guys out there that are smart, ambitious and love the cinema, and they'll find their way to you soon.

And to answer your question, I would totally date you.
