i've know this guy for a year and he is on the shy side. i'm certain he will say yes So im planning on asking him out. i know that guys say they wouldn't mind but what would it make me look like to him? does it matter who does the asking?

I have never understood why society expects the girl to wait hoping the guy will make the first move. I believe in equality. I like the idea of a woman making the first move if she feels like it.

I prefer it. It takes away the pressure. Being a guy is tough, thinking about the best way to ask a girl out. Guys arent brutal when they say "No" to a girl. When a girl says no to us, they usually talk about us to their friends (BAD) behind our backs. After a while, rumors. It is just easier

Ask him out! Definately! I've askd out plently of girls, and i think it would make him feel awsome, if the girl did the work this time. I say go for it.

I think its fine if a girl asks a guy out. plus i think its a good surprise to the guy who gets asked ouy by the girl. :D
