By the way they treat you & act around you. If they treat you with respect & are proud to have you around them, then they appreciate you & what you bring to the mix.
If they treat you lousy, it doesn't matter what they say they feel about you.
Good sex may lead to a more romantic relationship, but bad sex only makes it worse. So, make sure that at least the sex is good, 'cause that alone is worth sticking around for. If it's love, then he'll be there as well.
How he treats you will sort out the rest. Does he act like he's happy to have you around? Then it's all goodl, regardless of what you call it.

Honestly I've wanted sex more with the person I was more in love with and wouldn't have been happy to be cut off just as a test. That's one way you express your feelings - to meet the other person's needs. But it's only one way. There's a time and place for everything and most of the time other quality time, activities, planning and conversations should be going on for the most part.

well im a guy so i would say if this person does not want to do things w/you or shows no interest in things you like then they could be useing u for just sex.
