My dad still works at a minimum wage job, but gets excellent benefits and social security. I do have a job myself but I find it hard to support me, my wife and children along with my parents. My dad is 75 and he says that he might not have enough money to live if he retires. I always insisted that he retire and I can help him out. As a child, you always want to return something to your parents. He claims that he wants to retire and does not work anymore. He feel that we would not have enough to survive. I feel kind of guilty that he is still working at 75 years old. Please help me cope with this feeling. Do you know anyone that works at 75 yrs old?

i have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years and it has been wonderful. The first year he kept me private and away from his family. we both decided we were ready for his family to meet me. so i met them and they have been wonderful except for his mother. His dad died when he was 19 and he has taken the responsiblity role of being the father figure to his brothers which i respect alot. The only problem is is that his mother acts like she is married to him. We happen to share the same birthday and whatever he gets me she has to get equal or better or she is unhappy. If he spends time with me like private time she tells him she feels ignored and left out. If he takes me on vacation or to a concert he has to explain to her why she cant come along. It just gets frustrating because i feel like its not our relationship like its me him and his mom and i dont know how to deal with it she is starting to come between us by causing drama about random things. I honestly dont know what to do..

My husband says there's nothing like the love you feel for your children- but I think why have children if you can't give them everything possible. He believes children make your life fulfilling- meaningful...Do all couples feel this way after the child is starting to grow up or do regrets start?

Met a guy from a singles website. He had a pic up and everything, said that his relationship status was "single". We had lunch and did a little smooching afterward. I did just an open record, free search on him and found out that he's married. They even just bought a house a few months ago.... when I asked him about it, at first he denied it was him but he eventually told me that it's too expensive for a divorce (which I know is not true in all cases, this was not someone with a lot of assets). Anyway, think I should contact the wife and let her know her husband is on a dating website?? I'd want to know...

I am 17 years old and I am barely on my first boyfriend, I just lost my virginity and that's good according to most girls I know. I have never been to a party and just barely started going to the movies thanks to my boyfriend. When we go to the movies I have to bring a cell phone so my mom could keep in contact and I understand that but we see a early movie and when it's over my mom wants me right back home to stay for the rest of the day. I don't have a curfew but when ever I leave she wants me to come back right away. If I'm borded then I just have to deal with it because my mom accuses me of sneaking off to motels with my boyfriend when I do leave. I got a job and she wants 150 a month and she doesn't even have a job cause my dad works. She spends money on useless things and I think I shouldn't have to pay rent until 18. She wants to keep count of my money and every little thing I do. I'm I wrong to feel disapointed and unwanted. I'm 18 in 2 wks and ready to move.I'm not happy

I'm 28...not that it matters. My friend and I had an argument Monday night because I told him some things that were bothering me about our friendship...like the way he treats me, etc. He "thinks" I'm too dependent on him (I'm not) and says that he thinks that we shouldn't see each other as often (we were seeing each other weekly). I haven't heard from him since, but he said to give him 2 weeks and he'd talk to me soon. Fine. The problem I'm having now is that he knows that my biggest fear in the world is losing people close to me (long story) and I'm so hurt and angry at him for doing what he did, but at the same time, I miss him so much. Part of me just wants to see and talk to him, but part of me really wants to tell him to go to you know where. I don't want to lose his friendship, though. I'm just not sure how to respond when he calls again. He didn't end the friendship. He's just being an *A* hole right now. I'm just hurt, angry and sad at the same time. Help!

We work in the same store together and he's sooo fine. He's cool, nice and we talk and say hello, but that's about it. We might exchange stares, but girls who don't even work at the store know who he is and I think they might have a better chance than me. I don't even know if he has a girl, I don't think so. But I wanna at least start talking to him more. PLz, give me some advice.

I have business lunches practically every weekday. People sometimes tell me I'm always dressed up.
I'm a mostly wear 32 size waist chinos and dockers, sometimes I'm a 30 waist, but not usually.
Shirt sizes seem to vary more by brand because I have a lot of S and M size shirts, and they all fit great.

My mom and sisters have bought me for the last 5 years the same thing for my birthday, Christmas, and anytime they feel like it: SHIRTS.
But I never wear the shirts, they ALWAYS buy me XL size shirts. I keep telling them I'm an M. But they keep buying XL sizes.
They buy me Perry Ellis, Calvin Klein, Polo all the brands I wear. But I keep telling them I'm an M. I tell them everytime before my birthday or Christmas, I'M AN "M"!!

They are too big for me, I just don't wear them. I have my closet full of them, some with the tag still on. They are taking up too much space.

Should I just throw them away?

My husband told my friend on more then one occasion he wanted to have sex with her. After he continued to tell her that, she confided in me. I confronted him and he admitted it and apologized. Of course he blamed the liquor but I know better then that, liquor has never made me hit on his friends. I am having a very hard time forgetting this and moving on and forgiving him. I do beleive he is sorry but again, I'm not an idiot, he got caught, had she not been the good friend she is, who knows where it may have led. This happened alomost a year ago and he has given me no reason not to trust him since then but I cannot let it go! I want to forgive and forget but I keep reliving it in my head and wondering "what if she said yes!" How can I get over this? Or since I can't seem to, is our relationship doomed? We have a 2 year old son, two stepsons (we've been together for 7 years, married for 3 of those). Any advice?

I've been in a relationship with my now fiance' for 3 years. He has a 16 year old daughter and I have a 14 year old daughter. We've been trying to "blend" families this whole time. He and I get along well. As a matter of fact, other than "putting out fires" regarding the kids, we have never had an argument of our own.
His child has quite a few issues she's had to deal with since about 8 years old (ie. mother leaving, sister leaving, allergic to everything, asthma, can't fit in socially at school, not doing well in school, behavior problems, etc.). I've tried to be understanding, but ignoring is something I'm finding hard to do. He says she's "acting out"; I say those "acts" need to be discussed and handled. He says she's been through enough. She never gets disciplined for detentions at school, being arrested, foul language, etc. My daughter doesn't understand why she gets disciplined for the same thing we overlook regarding his daughter. I'm ready to just give up on us.

So my son is 12 and will turn 13 in February. My problem is that he is so aggressive and angry that I don't know what to do. He is mouthy and rude. He told me yesterday that I should "get a clue" that his groundings weren't working. He said that all I was accomplishing was making him angry. I can't get him to do his homework or chores. His dad and I are divorced but he lives with his step-father and me. Right now, his step-father is only home on the weekends due to job issues. His transfer should be complete within the next month but I'm not sure we can make it that long. He sees his dad every other weekend and has grandparents that are very involved. I don't like to spank (I was abused as a child). Maybe that's where I have screwed up. PLEASE help. I am not sure I can survive HIS puberty!

do you think this is normal we were traveling and at the hotel pool and we got out for a few minutes and I ended up sitting by my wife and across from her sister. I have pretty small feet for a guy and I think both me and my sister in law noticed that her feet were larger than mine when my wife went to the restroom I was shocked to have my sister in law boldly say look how small your feet are up to mine and she pressed her soles right against mine...honestly she was loving it picking on me and kept talking about it.... and I guess I found it pretty cool too. she left her feet by mine for a long time and even showed my wife the difference in size when she returned. this made me feel kinda funny but i found it kinda turned me on. do you think that I did anything wrong or is this kinda normal would you do it if you were sitting across from me and noticed the same thing

Before you say no, think about it. Not that many people pay as much taxs as you think. They reinvest it or hide it some way.
