ok, so i started talking to this man a few months ago, things were going well when he said he didnt have time for a real relationship. He said we can hang out and do things together and have sexual benefits....but only with each other. He calls/texts me everyday and talk about everything from work to our kids to intimate details of our lives.we see each other as much as possible. soooo, how is this different from a "real relationship"?!

I'm a 29 year old mother of a 4 year old and I haven't dated anyone since she was born. Her father, of course, wants nothing to do with her and I'm wondering how my dating will affect her. I don't want her childhood to be memories of a bunch of random men entering and exiting her mother's life, and I don't think I could handle that myself. Do you think I should start dating again?

i met my husband five years ago, when he ws a drug user! he got off the drugs and we travelled Australia together! We got married three months ago! But now, all he is interested in is when he can next get to the pub, he doesn't want to do anything else, and every time we spend time together, he whinges about how boring it is! the other night i took him to the pub, so that we could go together, but he just wanted to go home, and tonight he is going to a party, and i'm not invited! i feel totally neglected, i talked to him about it, and he said that he doesn't want me there because he knows i dont like pubs, but he doesnt want to do anything else either! i know he isn't back on the drugs, and there is no other girl! we live in a small town and people say he just has a good time when he's out! but why won't he have a good time with me? I'm considering divorse, is there any other way to fix this problem? please help me to save my marraige!

I was on the phone with someone I like and met a week ago online. I seem to be into her, could she be giving me a test to see how I handle the situation? While on the phone the phone call got disconnected, I believe by her line. What could this mean if she doesn't call back? I tried calling her cell phone and there was no answer, I called her home phone and there was no answer. So I decided to forget about it. However does this mean that she isn't interested? She is a 29 year old police officer and if she wasn't interest I believe she would tell me. What do you think?

Do you think that a lot of the hype about love today in the media and among young people (especially primary kids and "tweens" /teenagers) is true love to last for a lifetime, or mere infatuation at a time when they're emotions are running high? Is it really credible/possible to find true love at a young age, or is it all infatuation. Do you think adults generally see it differently when they're older and have had more life experience?

We live together, and there's a good chance we'll get married. I don't know how I'm going to deal with this woman, who will be around for quite awhile since they have a child.

The expectations she has are just too much. Right now she's enraged that I'm getting his domestic partner health benefits. She wants it, even though that wouldn't even be legal. She expects him to share his child care benefits so she can have day care during her week, even though she doesn't work. She wants us to fire our nanny and pay her to watch her own son when my bf is working and daycare isn't open. She doesn't work. Has a trust fund, but it runs out in 9 months and I'm worried her demands will get even worse then. She is bi-polar and claims she is incapable of keeping a job, but she usually quits herself when she does get one. She's started sending him nasty text messages about me, and he's getting really stressed out. Anyone have any ideas on how to deal with a person like this?

I am a grad student who works with a committee of faculty members on my genetics research. One of the members of the faculty took a real interest in a proposal I wrote and I have since invited him to be on my thesis panel. At first it was all talk of my research and was very professional but as time has progressed (this is all in a matter of months) he has been acting strangely around me. He has also started giving me gifts and offering me many unsolicited things such as trips, and even money. He has never made an overt sexual advance but I am fairly certain that I am the only student he spends extra time with and really goes out of his way to see. I should also add that he is married. My dilema is that I feel uncomfortable and am thinking of asking him not to be on my thesis panel anymore- but am worried that in doing this I will create a bad situation. Am I just reading too much into his actions, is he just being nice? I do value his professional input on my research......

I know I was fired so the office manager & her assistant could hire a friend. It wasn't because of money. Also, the office manager and I were friends(we had been long before she became the office manager) and I considered her my friend until the end. (Hurt? YES!) Business is business but this was obviously not. What I need help with is this what can I say to her when I talk to her again? Oh, and I will because she won't want me to think it was "personal". What can I say??

He had nowhere to go after he got out, so he moved in with me in a one bedrm apartment. His back is all messed up, he has to crawl out of bed in the morning. He is getting treatment but it doesn't help much. Emotionally he is quieter and more withdrawn than he was before. I don't know what to do. We sleep in the same bed, I have been giving him nightly massages for his back. The past few weeks we have gotten too close and it feels great to both of us, but, but, but, but
There isn't a dad in the picture, never has been.

this Q follows on from my previous one about me telling our mutual friend about our relationship problems.

i came clean with him and told him that I have been talking to her and I told her all our problems.

I lied at first saying no I didn't tell her.

I lied because I fear his bad temper and needed to buy myself time to "brace" for the persecution I was going to get. For 3 days he asked "have you told her anything?" I say no. Last night i worked up the courage to tell him I had, knowing to be honest was best.

According to him I'm the most vindictive evil B**** ever. He thinks i just want to turn people against him. he doesnt' get that women need to share their problems with friends, that's not a good enough excuse.

so he's angry that I've ruined his friendship with her and cos i lied about saying i spoke to her. he says we are finished cos of this.

this is the 1st wrong thing i've done and he's blown it out of proportion. hasn't he?

My wife have been flirting with a female friend and now they have agreed to have a threesome. It sounds fine to me, however, and as it would be the first time for all; I would like some advise how to handle better the session in bed to come. Just want to make sure I secure pleasure for all of us and I have to admit that all XXX films that deal with that kind of situation would not be the right model to follow as there are no nerves involved and they are not first timers, are they? ;-)

-please only serious answers, I need all the advise-
