But now, all he is interested in is when he can next get to the pub, he doesn't want to do anything else, and every time we spend time together, he whinges about how boring it is! the other night i took him to the pub, so that we could go together, but he just wanted to go home, and tonight he is going to a party, and i'm not invited! i feel totally neglected, i talked to him about it, and he said that he doesn't want me there because he knows i dont like pubs, but he doesnt want to do anything else either! i know he isn't back on the drugs, and there is no other girl! we live in a small town and people say he just has a good time when he's out! but why won't he have a good time with me? I'm considering divorse, is there any other way to fix this problem? please help me to save my marraige!

If your marriage is only three months old, odds are you should be able to get an annullment.

I'd be concerned that he might be an alcoholic. If he is, deep down he probably knows before anyone else will. Maybe he doesn't want you around because then you'll begin to notice how much he drinks when he's at the pub. Alcoholics and drug users often get reclusive when it comes to the people closest to them, as a way of hiding their problem.

As hard that this might be for you. You need to find Friends and go out to. Think about how this would make him feel, It would be a big change for him because he goes out now but he knows that you are still at home waiting for him to come back. I know that you love him and that all you want to do is spend time with him but believe this is the way men are. You have already tried talking to him about it and he hasn't been sensitive about so I say you Go and have fun. I am not saying to go and get drunk and do bad things just go out with a couple of friends and keep your mind off of him. If this doesn't settle him down then maybe it is time for you reconsider your relationship or to go get counseling.

It sounds like he likes the single life and doesn't want to be married to anyone that would interfere with that. Try to get him to go to counseling with you and if not, then go for the divorce.
the people who say he has a good time when he is out may well be saying how it is a shame that you are not their with him but after the divorce you can show them that you can have a good time also.

Sorry, it will be painful.
You saved him you know all his weaknesses. Now that he is better, he doesn't want to see you anymore, he wants you to get lost together with his past.
Divorce him ASAP and find someone who doesn't need your help, but enjoys your company.
Believe me, I made the same mistake not even once. It is over. You can be proud, you did a good job, saving him. It's time to deal with your own life.

i feel your pain. how old are you & hubby?
my hubby has done this in the past, but he finally grew up!
sadly some guys never do grow up though.
suggest counselling to him
why not try new things & find some new intersts & hobbies that you will enjoy together.
if all else fails then try divorce.
good luck sweetie.

He might be trying to push you away from him. Also he may feel as though he can't leave you after what you've done for him so he's subconsciously trying to push you away. I would say go try some marriage counseling or something.

Maybe you should contact Alcoholics Anonymous. They could give you some tips to deal with your husbands problems.

It sounds like he may be an alcoholic....or maybe he IS being unfaithful. He told you that he isn't cheating, but people have been known to lie about that issue before.
