I was on the phone with someone I like and met a week ago online. I seem to be into her, could she be giving me a test to see how I handle the situation? While on the phone the phone call got disconnected, I believe by her line. What could this mean if she doesn't call back? I tried calling her cell phone and there was no answer, I called her home phone and there was no answer. So I decided to forget about it. However does this mean that she isn't interested? She is a 29 year old police officer and if she wasn't interest I believe she would tell me. What do you think?

Our first question would be 'why was the line disconnected suddenly'. If it were by mistake, she would have called to apologise for what had happened. The next question is 'how come she doesn't answer you when you called her up?' I suppose she would know the caller before answering the phone because your number is registered already on her hand phone. So before answering the phone, she would know who is the caller! And if she doesn't like to talk with you, she will not pick up the phone.

The little speculation that I have is - she could have put off the line while you were having the conversation. The reason is unknown - but it is possible that this can happen when someone wants to do so.
You're right by saying that if she doesn't like you, she would tell you. I hope she will be frank enough to do that. But unfortunately, some people do not possess such righteousness or virtuous enough to express simply 'no, thank you.'
Well, you've tried your part. If there is no response from her, I suggest you simply forget about her. Nothing is subtracted from you!

It could be a number of things like maybe she's not a police officer, maybe you were asking too many questions, maybe you eluded to something your friends did your you did that "might" sound illegal, maybe you sounded like someone she knew thru friends, maybe she was just leading you on, maybe she got busy, maybe you are blocked, maybe a rap sheet just came in and she thought it was you, maybe you didn't have a degree or some profession that was like hers and maybe she didn't think you guys had a lot in common, could be lots of things. What were you talking about when the line went dead? Was there lightning outside? did you hear anything in the background before the line went dad? How long have you waited for her to call you again? Does she have your number or is yours a private number? Maybe she doesn't meet people from online. Maybe her bf caught her talking to you. Not necessarily, some people like to keep the other person guessing.

Well it could mean so many things, but if she is a police officer that is out of caritour. I think that if she is really who she say she is she would at least try to contact you. But since you have no valid contact information she's not worth you time. Hope this helps.

Age doesn't matter - women of ALL ages are capable of playing MIND GAMES on a guy...

It could mean a LOT of things - but it could also mean NOTHING!

Just call her back NOW - or whenever it's a good time for HER - and let it go. But if she plays the same trick AGAIN, then run - unless you LIKE being manipulated ;);)
