OK I’m in the same boat. Only I’m a Junior and he’s a freshman. A three year freshman he’s 16 and I’m 17.
I think its OK cause age really is just a Number and he’s only a year younger than me. But when I tell my friends I like him they started calling me “ cradle robber.” He’s only one year younger. He should be in the same grade as me. what’s the problem? I don’t have one he dozen’t yet any one who’s not us does? That’ not right u can’t help who you like. And if he likes you than go for it. Hell he may turn out to be a better boyfriend than anyone in your grade. You never know till you try right? So yes people will talk most likely your friends but oh well, who cars, Tell them strait to get over it. Your going to like who you want to like.
But no I don’t think its wrong. Age is just a number!!!

Ask your self this when your peers are making fun off you,
" What's the difference between a male senor and freshman girl going out? No one care!!! SO why should girls be any different.

Hope I helped.

The 17,/15 thing isn't bad, it's the senior/freshman thing that's a little much. I would think it's a litte strange, but it's up to you and if you really like the boy.

Absolutely. Even though people say age doesn't matter, in high school it sort of does. But a girl dating a boy two years younger is completely reasonable. I know plenty of senior girls who have dated freshmen boys. Just keep in mind that your maturity level is going to be higher than his most likely.

I'd say no. For one, he's jailbait. It's only two years, but at that age two years is more extreme. You're almost done with high school and after high school a whole new world starts. The last thing you'll want is to associated with high school drama.

Sure. Just don't have sex with him. I might sound weird, but I read in seventeen about a girl who had sex with her 15 year old boyfriend, she was 17. She like had to go court! Because he was still a minor and it was considered a sexual crime!

I think you should go with what your heart desires. Don't listen to what anyone says in school. If you really think the relationship will go somewhere, than go for it. Just be sure he can handle someone as mature as you, since he's in the 9th grade and all. Don't listen to really anyone else's opinion about him because at the end of the day you are the one who has to be with him. not them.

You could, but guys mature more slowly at your age right now and it might be better for you if you dated someone closer to your age but on the other hand if you are good friends, respect one another and have similar intrests why not.
