send one rose with a note that says she'll get a full bouquet after she goes out with you. Then don't forget to write your name and number. ;-)
That way you save money, and she is somewhat intrigued by a mild, but not over the top romantic gesture. When she calls you you've won, so you'd better gloat with a bit cocky confidence but don't be a jerk.
Ask her out. People say dinner and a movie is so cliche, they're right that combo sucks. Movie and dessert is way better. Find out what she wants to see or just go to a drama. Go to a medium early showing then hit up a little cafe. AT THE VERY LEAST, the movie you just saw can serve as a topic of discussion.

Just be yourself. Put a lil love not on the card and send them before you chicken out. Trust me his process has to be quick otherwise youll start to think and thats never good. No, seriously If you are like any of the other nervous guys and take to long to write the card and sent them chances are that youll get to thinking about what might happen if......well you get the point. Anyway just make it quick and try to think of all the good things that will come of it , not fo all the bad things that might.

Sending roses is romantic for lovers, but not for a crush. She'll think you are a stalker or a fool desperate for love. Just play it cool and don't send roses if you don't know if she feelin' you.

Have you told her you want to go out with her? I'd give her flowers on the date, and not between passing periods or trying to catch the bus. Make it special.
