Child support is normally determined by which parent has primary custody of a child. Therefore, child support is a consequence of child custody. You may want to review the facts on the child custody page, because in most cases, you cannot receive child support unless you have legal custody of a child. The parent who the child does not primarily reside with usually pays child support. This payment is normally a monthly payment to the other parent for support of the child. Many times circumstances change that make the initial child support in a divorce decree or custody order too low, or too high, and changing the amount becomes necessary to bring the support within the guidelines established by Texas law. This does require going back to court in most cases.
These changes are very fact dependent, so a consultation with a family law attorney is a good idea to determine whether you are receiving (or paying) the correct amount of child support.

Go to your local child support enforcement agency, fill out the paper work , they will issue u custody, prove his paternity, and issue u child support and medical insurance for your child .. he will have to pay them directly then they will cut u a check, if he still doesnt pay they will possibly suspend his drivers license, they will garnish his paychecks, and possibly garnish any income tax refund he may get on any back child support that is owed.. , its alot easier then trying to find the money to retain a lawyer.. so fill out the application it may take a couple of months but by the time its said and done u wont need to worry about it anymore.., also check with ur local HRS to see if they can help u with any type of state assistance until your child support checks start coming in..
Good luck :)

Call or go to the human resources office and tell them your problem . They will tell you what to do. Another way would be to call the pasture of any christian church and he will tell you who to contact. When you get to the right government agency they will take over and help find your boyfriend and order DNA tests to prove or disprove his fathering of your child. If he is the father the state will make him pay child support to them and they will send the money to you. They will also collect for you any back child support that you have coming. Do not neglect doing this . Follow up on every thing you are told to do by the state. Good luck.

If his name is on the Birth Certificate, then he's the daddy. You need to talk the Child Support Enforcement Agency in your area. They will help you determine paternity, and with the legal proceeding to get the court orders.
See the link below to locate the agency in your state.

Sounds like the father of your child is a real loser, but if he is the father, he owes child support for his child. Contact the attorney general's office and give them the details. They have the resources to track him down and he will have to pay what he owes.

Another fine example of how women will ruin their lives by having casual sex with men they're not married to and have their babies for free. At least prostitutes get paid. My advice is to hire an attourney and hope that the money you collect in child support will cover the fees. Congrats on being another statistic.

I would contact child enforcement and if you have to..... have a DNA test to prove that he is the father. If you give them the fathers name and last address and last place of work they may be able to find him. Then they will go after him.

take your pic, go to DHS and file for assistance, if you know his SSN its even better but if not they can find out. Tell them he is refusing his child.
Or get a lawyer who will take the case pro-bono (free) and then file for a DNA test and for your ex to cover the costs of the court and tests. If he doesn't comply he will be in contempt of court. Message me and we can talk more.
