what are peoples opinion on younger men like myself (20) dating older women (like 35 to 50).?

I'm 34 and in school with a lot of people around 22, and I don't stick out as being much older, really. I don't think this is such a huge age gap.

No, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. People have their preferences. Personally, I like men in the 40-50 range. They're established, experienced in the romance dept., hopefully have learned how to treat a lady, but still young enough to have fun. (Not looking for any retirees--LOL) Even men around my own age seem too immature for me. I want someone who's been there/ done that. Call me crazy.

No, you aren't nuts. The old taboos of younger men / older women are long past. I have dated people much younger than me, as well as much older, and I have learned a great deal from both age groups. Age difference only matters if it bothers one of you, or if you cannot relate because one or both of you let your age dictate your interests. People who enjoy life tend to have interests that span the generations, and so it doesn't become an issue. There are fascinating, wonderful people in every age group. Don't let stereotypes or senseless taboos stand in your way of finding happiness.

well, normally, younger guys get attracted to older women, because they are more experienced, and they know how to control things and are more mature. However, not all the time this works. If you fancy older women, it is okay to give it a try. But you have to be mature in thinking, otherwise, you will just end up being ditched after a while.

How about 32? (wink wink) Ive heard its become more main stream. So you are not the only "Nut" so to speak. But most of the guys I have been with have been younger than me. I don't look at age really. though after the fact I am like eeps. But Then I found out my mother was the same way and that my father was 6 years younger than she was. A 20 year old dating 35 year old is not wronge, it also makes biological sense considering you're both at your sexual peak.
But a 20 year old dating some who's as old as 50 might have some psycholgical issues to look at. Freud what would want to know what your relationship with your mother was like. Maybe you had a poor maternal figure and you are looking to replace her. Also, a 50 year old and a 20 year old will not be looking for the same thing in a relationship, its a recipe for disaster.

Think about your question for a few minutes. Which one is more experienced in life and sex? I started at the age of sixteen with a twenty three year old Divorcee. You will not regret your decision and you will leave all of your friends in the dust by the eduaction that you are about to experience!

The age barrier can be a tough one...so many years of separation can mean different wants, likes, needs, etc.

But my opinion: happiness and a compatible partner are hard to find. If yours happens to be 15-20 years your elder...and the 2 of you are happy...good for you! If you find happiness, then don't worry about the age.

Your not nuts at all! You cant stop yourself from likeing who you like. Older women are just as sexy as younger (20's like me). My mom (45) has more guys (20's) hitting on her then me. I think it cool.
