I got an email asking for dinner ideas for a newly divorced dad looking for some recipes for him and the kids. From the email I gathered he had full custody. So I put together a few quick tips, an idea or two about a weekly meal plan and even some shopping tips. After I sent the email I started wondering what the answer crowd would have suggested for easy meals for divorced/single parents.

It's been couple of months, I broke up with my 3 years boyfriend (A) because I liked another guy (B) that we met together.

(A) and I had an open relationship, he never told me that he loves me but I was totally satisfied happy & proud with our relation and felt loved and cared for, everything was fine except that he was in the last period complaining a lot because he was bored in general, he was assuring me that he's not bored from me, just from the country we're living in & that if we go live somewhere else more civilized things would get better, but I was not ready to go live somewhere else.

All of the sudden i decide to break up and go for the new guy (B), which was a shock for (A). He tried many ways from fighting to being nice to being sad but I didn't want to go back. I wanted to stay best friends with him though. But since we started fighting each time we meet so I stopped contact with him for few weeks. Yesterday I contacted him again and we also had a fight...

I have a serious problem, I don't have many friends and I am afraid to make some because I know that there will come a time when I will have to say goodbye, whether he/she moves or we go to different schools, ect. and Its just too hard to say goodbye

My wife and I found out we are pregnant. This week is my dad's bday and this is the only time the family of four will get together before a cousin's wedding later this month. We do not want to mention anything about a pregnancy at the wedding to take away from the bride. We thought we would write on his birthday cake something creative stating we are pregnant so he can see it after he blows out the candels. this is a very informal get together on his birthday. it is our first child and his second grandchild. If you like this idea, any thougthts of what to write on the cake?

What should you do if you live in a town, where most of the people at your college hate you. I am not pretending i normaly eat alone nd when tried going to a party one time the host yelled

and basicaly the only thing to do in this town and the town over is get drunk nd have sex

i ws never one for drinking
due to the fact iv seen it ruin to many friends lives
and have more self respect to sleep around


i feel so alone
i try to make friends
bt everone i meet seems to be all the same

i wish i could move away
bt it wont be until another year when i am done wt my liberal arts course

any advice on how to make it thru the rest of the time in hell

iv gotten to the point at times when i felt like killing myself would be a better option than
ptuting up wt everyones harrassment all the time

i know everyone says to meet people who arnt into that
the only ones ar christians tht i knw of

I am a neighbour to a personin my building who has a wife and a 2 1/2 yr olf daughter. I know the family for 4 years now and we are close. The husband is a good friend of mine the wife is not a close person to me. The child is wonderful and I love her alot.The husband has invited me to come along with his wife and child to India to be with his family for 6 weeks at xmastime and meet everyone. He says that all I need to pay for is my airfare and have some spending money. His family is wealthy and live in North India and have a dairy and poultry farm. I am wondering what an Indian family would think about a single women coming along with their family and living with them for 6 weeks. I do not speak Hindi and I do not eat spicy Indian food. My friend has informed me that the kitchen servants cook anything and can prepare my food as i request. I am part of the family my friend says. he says I am in his "heart" and he likes me to be part of his family. I am wondering if I should accept.

ok,my best girl friends little sister is 16 and pregnant, but will be 17 when she has her child. she is not going to school because she has to be on bed rest due to bleeding and other complications, so she is still studying at home, and then is going to get her GED after her baby is born. she lives with her parents,and luckily for her, her parents are backing her up 100% until she can get on her own two feet and get a job.
but she called me crying tonight because shes scared child services will take her child away because shes not in school, i am pregnant myself but do not know about reasons why a child would be taken away from her..
so i was hoping other people would be able to help?

So today I had a post-graduate job interview for a position I really wanted and I am staying in the DC area as opposed to the New York area where I'm from, one of the reasons being that I want to stay near my bf.

So on the phone today he asked my how my interview was and said it sounded like it went well and wished me good luck and such.

But then he started saying, you know, I hope you realize that it's a tough job and you could be working almost 60-80 hours a week during the end of the fiscal year. And it almost sounded like he was being negative and said I should really think about whether or not that is is what I want.

So should I be mad at him because I feel like he's putting me down for a job I really want? Like, I understand there could be long hours but I think it will be worth it. Or is he just giving his honest opinion and I should listen to what he has to say?

What do you think? I know he wants to stay with me after college so it's not like he's trying to push me away..

I want to go post secondary and live with my grandma...she is the best g-ma out there but my parents want me to drive back and forth instead of just living next to the college I want to attend. It seems a lot easier then driving for an hour to and from school everyday. I don't know how to convince them and I seriously don't know how to convince them.

We have been living in my in-laws residence since before we were married. My question is would it be ok for us to have a household shower?? We don't have alot of the household things that we really need, so we thought of having a shower. Any input would be great. THANKS & God Bless!!

A very special friend of mine is in the Air Force. We've had a "complicated" relationship, and I want to do something to show that I still love him and care about him.

Right now what I have is an AF bear in dress blues, a pair of camo boxers, and a mega chocolate bar personalized with his picture and a short message. I'm not exactly sure what to say either. Something like, "Happy Birthday. Hope today is as special to you as you are to me. Love always, (my name)(*kotc*)." Any comments or other suggestions about my gift and/or message?

im 20 and guys are so SHOCKED when they find out im a virgin!!! why is that??? i met a guy really fell for and i told him i wanted him to be my first, even though i had a feeling he really didnt want anything serious. i was in denial because i really liked him and i knew he liked me too. But..... he didnt even try to which was good but really weird too most guys i met would jump at that!!! he told me he cares about me. but he said basically said in the begining he wanted to just mess around then he changed his mind, never brought it up and never tried. I have a guy friend who is dating someone who I don't trust, and I heard from another friend that she saw her making out with another person. I told him about it, and he asked his gf about it and she told him that she didn't, yet I don't believe it. Now he's mad at my friend for supposedly lying. i've been with my bf for 9 months and i really really care about him. Problem is he just doesn't seem as into me anymore. He'll go all week or a couple weeks in a row without making plans and is calling wayy less.. maybe its just me but i think when i talk to him he looks at me differently. I really really care about him and am thisCLOSE to being in love with him. I know he likes me and all but i think its in a diffferent way than i like him.
I think he likes me if its convenient but isn't really in it for the love.. which is something I WANT.

Also i've been considering but still not lost my virginity to him.

And lately i've been debating whether to break it up with him.

ITs soooo hard but i've just been miserable.. i need to know he cares or not but he can't keep dragging me around like this half dead..

Me and my sister used to be really close untill she got pregant and got married after she had my first nephew I seen him for 2 weeks and she kept him away for 5 months and when she needed a baby sitter she let me see him. a couple of years went by I changed shifts and could not watch him anymore so she started giving me the cold sholder now that she has had her 2nd baby. All of the sudden she tells me she hates me and it was a mistake to let me watch her son and i can't see them no more. I met a guy about a year ago and we hit it off. He lived about fourty minutes away from me- we were both still in high school without our liscenses so we met up once for a movie. That summer he left for college and now is about six hours away. I am still in high school. We have talked online almost every night for a year now and have rly come to know each other.
