I met a guy about a year ago and we hit it off. He lived about fourty minutes away from me- we were both still in high school without our liscenses so we met up once for a movie. That summer he left for college and now is about six hours away. I am still in high school. We have talked online almost every night for a year now and have rly come to know each other. He is coming home from college for the first time in a month- it has been 2 months since he left for college. I have not been in a realationship before so i am thinking that this is not a good situation for my first relationship. I really feel a connection with him but i have only seen him once. Help!

im sorry thats not what i would call a long distance relationship --- 6 hours is a fair distance --- it all depends on what you feel is important --- your connections to each other or your perception of the physical separation ---i had a relationship with a lady in high school (i did not have my licence i was too young) --- we met a few times a year and wrote to each other (the internet was not around at the time -- yes it is a long time ago) --- we were an item for about 7 years and it just faded out when we went to work --- i did try to move closer but could not get a job --- its all about how you get on together dont look at the distance look at how you make each other feel ---- best wishes
