He was working at a little burrito stand where I ate everyday after school (I was in high school at the time). My older brother was also working there at the time. I thought all the guys who worked there were sooooo hot (except for my brother, of course).
The first time I saw him I knew there was something special about him, and I didn't even know his name. I thought it was wierd because I wasn't even that attracted to him at first. It is really hard to explain the feeling I got when I first met him, it was like I knew that I was going to marry him one day. I didn't fall for him immediately, it was actually his best friend, who also worked at the burrito stand, that really caught my eye.
A few months later, he asked me on a date. Being the dumb blonde I was, I thought he was asking my friend on a date (he worded it wierd). My friend and I met my (now) husband and his friend at the movie theater, and in an awkward moment my (now) husband asking my friend to switch seats with him so he could sit next to me, I realized it was ME he was on the date with! Haha, what a dope I was!
Anyways, the rest is history...we have been married now for almost 5 years.

I met my wife of 23yrs in High School, she was my Drum majors Lil sister...we went together for four yrs and then got married. I wasn't the stud type and only had a few girl friends while I went to High School, so we never split up, just learned to love each other. Sort of grew up together, if ya know what I mean?

Only sad part about it, she divorced me about 5 yrs ago, said she wanted to be free, she was tired of being married and wanted to see what it was like to be single...Nevertheless, the lesson is, not to get married too soon!!! She was 19 and I was 22, we had never played the field as they say. So, good luck in your searching and make sure you have MANY girl friends before you get hooked up. Good Luck!

i met my boyfriend sophmore year in highschool. i had to tranfer schools and he was in my english class. i am 23 and he is 24 now. we have been living together for almost a year now. no rush for marrage and kids yet. were enjoying life and saving money to buy a house. i wish i knew if he was the one for me. but i couldnt imagion my life without him. we have had so many ups and downs in the relationship. but were happy so thats all that matters. he treats me good and takes care of me. i love his smile and im a huge fan of the brown hair and brown eyes thing. he is very responsible and has a good paying job. i could go on and on on.. when your searching for "the one" just look for someone who makes you happy.

which significant other?

"love is that interval between which you meet a beautiful girl and one morning wake up a realize she looks like a haddock"

your experience will be your own. just be honest always - nothing else will make you feel like that.
honest is not stupid. keep your eyes open.

i would say if they make you feel right. its not all about the romantic stuff. its also about how y'all feel about each other when y'all are around each other. and if you are willingly stay with that one person and one person only for the rest of your life then you know she/he is the significant other.
i haven't found my significant other yet im still looking to. no guy has ask me to be with him yet. im still waiting for him to. but im not putting my life on hold for some boy to ask me. or im not waiting around. or im not putting myself out there.

after a bad break up, i wouldn't let myself get serious with any guys. i told myself that the next guy to give me butterflies in my stomach was the guy that i was going to marry. a friend of mine kept trying to hook me up with his friends but none of them did it for me. at this point i didn't even care, i wasn't looking for a serious relationship. one evening he brought one of his friends to a restaurant where i was having dinner with my sister (i had no idea he was bringing anyone) and his friend gave me butterflies big time (which was the first time in a long time). we've been together for 7 years now and married for 1 year! :)

Church youth picnic. I knew that he was the one because he was the person I had visions of, so I knew that I would marry him. Unfortunately, we are divorcing in a few weeks. Oh well!
