What should you do if you live in a town, where most of the people at your college hate you. I am not pretending i normaly eat alone nd when tried going to a party one time the host yelled
GET THE **** OUTA HERE
what the **** ar u doing here

and basicaly the only thing to do in this town and the town over is get drunk nd have sex

i ws never one for drinking
due to the fact iv seen it ruin to many friends lives
and have more self respect to sleep around


i feel so alone
i try to make friends
bt everone i meet seems to be all the same

i wish i could move away
bt it wont be until another year when i am done wt my liberal arts course

any advice on how to make it thru the rest of the time in hell

iv gotten to the point at times when i felt like killing myself would be a better option than
ptuting up wt everyones harrassment all the time

i know everyone says to meet people who arnt into that
the only ones ar christians tht i knw of
bt i am agnstic

Religion shouldn't matter, as long as they don't try to force there beliefs on to you.

Crimson if you have any hobbies or interests you could always join a grouip of like minded individuals and people whom share the same interest as you. Something else that you could do, I know it may be difficult with school and all, is to do some volunteer work with people who are less fortunate than yourself. Surprising how good it feels to help others and how good your life can look while looking at the world through the less fortunate. As you said you have only 1 year left and then your education is complete and you can relocate anywhere. Thes others that only want to party and have sex probably think that they are the coolest things since slice bread. But they are subjecting themselves not only to bad reputations but also many serious STI's and possibly losing their careers if they get drunk and end up in prison. Believe in yourself and tell the ones that are being rude to you to kiss your ****. Best of luck in all your endevours. Don't even joke about taking your own life as I found a fella who had been renting my basement after he took his life and it was just awful. Awful not only for me and my son who found him but also for his family, friends and loved ones that must now deal with questioning what they could have done to prevent this or why they didn't see any signs. Obviously you are not a child and so should not think as one. Like I said have some confidence in yourself and show it to the rest of the world by being the best person you can be. You don't need an escape. The ones that need an escape are the people that are rejecting you, dear. Sex at a young age, drugs, alcohol are THEIR escape. Would you believe that some people are actually probably intimidated by the fact that you have self respect & u being around them makes them look bad? You're just too mature for them, so make yourself proud and walk through the pain and you'll see later u did the right thing and you'll meet people who have things in common with u. All you need is you right now and u have that.

Killing yourself is never the answer. Running away isn't going to work either. You will find that whatever baggage you have is going to follow you around until you face it. I think you need to stop worrying about all of these people liking you and just be yourself. Give people the "i-don't-care-what-you-think" attitude. If people see that they can get to you, they will do so to feel power and control over you. If you show them that there cruel words don't affect you, you will be a lot happier. Running away or killing yourself is letting them win. Showing that they can control and defeat you. You're better then that.

First answer is correct. I'm a Christian but I would still be friends with you because I'm not here to judge and most true Christians know that is not what life it about.
Hang in there --- get through school and you'll be fine in the longrun. Unfortunately, college seems to be a big time to party for some reason. Remember, this is about your future. I didn't go to college and am laid off right now and it sucks big time. Please hang in there.

"liberal arts course" Liberal arts means you basicley get a degree in nothing. My cousin took that course, Smart as a Whip, And she is working at Starbucks.
Liberal arts doesnt mean much.
