I have three children from 2 differant guys. Neither one of the children have their fathers last names and none of the fathers are on the birth certificates. The two who share a father have no contact with their father. He doesn't pay child support and there is no assosiation with him. My other ones father is in Prison. I have meet a wonderful man and we are soon to be getting married. He wanted to give my boys his last name and we wanted to do it the cheapest way with it still being legal. Does anyone know how I could go about doing this. Our budget is pretty tight so we wanted to do it simple and inexpensive as possible.

Since his teen years we've had a conflicting relationship. He's a good young adult, is an engineer, respected, has a good job. But now he broke my trust really bad, let me really down. I expected he would act in a way, but he did something else I didn't expect and didn't approve of. I must say he had the right to act as he did, and can't say he broke his word, because he never said he would do as I'd like him to. He never compromised, it's true. But I expected him to act as I thought he should, I trusted that, and he broke my trust. He doesn't think he did anything wrong, actually he thinks he did what he should do and doesn't accept I say he broke my trust, because he never promised he would do what I wanted.
But I'm his father, and he didn't act as I expected. In my place, wouldn't you be kinda angry, hurt and frustrated? Should I write him off?

He and I have both been separated from our spouses for over a year. One interest we both have is seeing Iceland before it melts away.

Should I go?

My H is now with a woman he is introducing to friends.

It would be for a four night trip.

At first, then try to tear you apart once you are between the sheets? It seems so dishonest. If
you want it from a guy all along you should not play
games. It has happened to me a number of times. Why do women do this?

for me to report my dad, last night he went into a really scary angry fit. he started saying he disowned me and that i needed to respect him then he threw something very hard at my head (i believe it was an 8 oz soda bottle) and it's left a not too large but extremely painful bump on my head. should i show it to someone? i tried to call 1800-4-a-child last night but my parents disconnected the phone to stop me from doing it. my guidance couselor knows somewhat that my dad hits me, but i'm too scared to tell her anything further. is there anyway, i could anoynymously report this or tell my teacher or something. i'm only 12 so i dont know if they'll believe me.
he was angry because i was talking with a fake accent and he said it would stick.

My husband and I have been married for 4 years, he's 29 and I'm 30. We have sex everyday and have been like that since day 1.He is always home with me and our 2 year old only once in a while he would be out with his family members to watch boxing. I nag alot and always accuse him of cheating.lately we have been fighting alot he says i'm pushing him out the door that he doesn't know how long he is gonna take it. we have even talked about getting a divorce. one time he told me he was going to see a fight at his cousin's house (right after work in his dirty work clothes) but when i asked him who won the fight he said there was no fight he was just hanging out with his cousins. why did he have to lie to me? you think maybe he had another set of clothes in his car and went out with another woman. a week later he had a weird # on his phone. when i asked him he said it was his cousin's phone# and gave me permission to call. is he cheating on me or am i going crazy?

I'm a 22 year old strong and independant female. I'm focused on my career, my future and success. But for some reason when it comes to my boyfriend I am soooo needy. He treats me really bad and we fight all the time. I want kids and marriage one day but he doesn't know if he wants that seeing how he already has two kids. I have never let a man have this kind of power over me before. My question is why is it that I can be so strong and independant in every other aspect of my life but yet go home and be mistreated so badly? Why is it so hard for me to just pick up and leave? Anyone with experience and advice please give me some feedback and opinions. Thank you.

P.S. We have been together for 5 years and we live together.

You're dating a woman you REALLY like. In fact, you both really like each other. Everything's going great. Each date better than the one before. A healthy deeper connection/friendship is developing. Both of you are really enjoy the interaction. You seek out each other's company. The chemistry on all levels is amazing. It's toally natural. People around you notice how happy you both are. Then unprovoked by anything she's done part of you inside emotionally withdraws, even while outwardly you're still treating her like a queen, calling her everyday, continuing to spend time together, making plans, etc. Why? Why do you get scared like that? What's going on and what should she make of it?

Whenever someone asks a question like "Should I wear a short skirt for my boyfriend" etc there always seems to be a lot of answers like "wear what you want". I respect this answer and believe that it is only true to an extent.

My previous boyfriend always wanted me to wear stockings and suspenders to work.(We work at the same office) I refused but on his birthday I wore them as I treat. It actually made me feel very sexy that he made me wear them for him.

Therefore my question is would you wear anything (within reason) for a boyfriend or should you dress for yourself?

Why is it that daughters typically turn out as their mothers?
Or is this just a myth?

Mother in law, Daughter in Law on. Dr. Phil seemed to be leaning toward the Daughter in Law as the bully. But I felt the mother in law was a drama queen, example, "She ripped the heart right out of my body", "ruined my life", and she seemed to be able to cry at the drop of a hat. I am with the daughter in law, she has a right to protect her marriage, her family, and her children by insisting the Mother in law get help. I felt this woman needed to let go. Some mothers try to hang onto their sons by any means.

I'm seeing this great guy for /about 7 weeks. We see each other on weekends because of our jobs. He has been a perfect gentleman, not trying one thing. We have snuggled, kissed, etc., but nothing sexual. We talked about a date that I had with this one jerk. I told this recent guy that I just wasn't ready for sex with that old guy. The problem is. I am so ready with the guy I am dating. How do I let him know I am ready without coming on too strong or turning him off IF he isn't ready for it? It is driving me crazy. I have a feeling he wanted for us to get close first instead of jumping in the sack right away. He asked me if I wanted to go on vacation in Feb. I said sure and laughed. He then said I had to date him until at least Feb and asked if I could hang. I said of course I could. That gave me an indication that he felt we were dating not just friends. How do I start things rolling? Will I turn him off?

He spent our 13 year marriages cheating (solid proof--he chalked up many scorned girlfriends that I have communicated with) and trading in some really gross porn. An investigator came to me the other day to interview me for his higher-than-God clearance and I told all--not to get back at him, but because I thought it was my duty to tell the truth. Now I feel guilty, why?

I like to play golf and have been since high school. (I'm currently 24) My boyfriend doesn't care for it, and I would like him to, but I can deal with it. He said sometime he might try to learn and go with me, but doesn't seem to be really happy about it. SO.. I have other friends ( male friends) that play. My boyfriend (of 2 years) gets really jealous and hates that I go golfing with male friends. So.. I haven't gone golfing with them in awhile because it will just start up a fight. But I would really like to have someone to golf with!!!
What am I to do?? Not many women golf, men mostly do. I tried to get my girlfriends to go but their not very interested.

I've been cheated on before so I just naturally think that if my boyfriend is being shady then he must be cheating on me or at least talking to someone else. He has told me before that he has never cheated on anyone before, and I believe him. But, for example, a couple weeks ago he cancelled our date because he wasn't feeling good. I didn't buy it at the time. I just knew he was cheating on me. So what did I do? I drove by his house and he was home (both times I drove by). There weren't any other cars at his house, either.

How do I get those thoughts out of my mind and trust him completely?

I am trying to get some opinions on this matter, because I'm a lil perplexed. I met this guy back in '05, we had a relationship (mostly casual) that lasted until he had to moved back to his hometown for a job & to be closer to his family. That was 1 yr ago this month. After he left, we continued contact, but I was doing more of the contacting, whereas sometimes he didn't answer the phone or whatever. Then he called me one day & told me he met a girl, I was happy for him because we were just friends when we left, but I had feelings for him & I believe he knew. So I stopped contact w/him, which probably seemed odd to him. Then after 4 months, he called me, said he broke up w/his gf, said she wasn't as cool as me, told me he wanted to look for a job back here where I live, and he said jokingly "you want me to marry you?" that came as a surprise. But I took all of this w/a grain of salt. Ever since then, he's been contacting me every other day, planning trips w/me, always answering his phone when I call, just a total different turnaround of what he used to be. My question is, if he was ever just in it for (casual) would he go through all this trouble if he could get "it" where he lives, or is he now thinking serious w/me?
