My son is 97lbs, 14 yrs old and approx 5'2". He had this heavy set, black girlfriend who seemed to be very sweet. My husband and myself met her parents several times whom seem to be down to earth and not racist and enjoyed my son's company.
His g/f would call here constantly. Well, she came to my son yesterday and told him that she was no longer going to be his friend because "her" parents were making fun of "my" son because he was white, and small, and that her parents would laugh and make comments to her while she was on the phone with my son.
I AM REALLY PISSED! I know deep down inside that he needs to learn about heartbreaks, but this is just way too racist! We teach our children that looks or race, has nothing to do with anyone, it is what is inside that counts the most.
NOT ONCE did we say to him to find a "white" girl, or she is too heavy for you.
I want to call her mom in the worst way and tell her how we feel!
Should I let it go?

Can someone please tell me what roles and responsibilities the MOH is supposed to have, like certain things she typically would organise when it comes to my wedding?
I have asked my 17 year old sister to be my Cheif Bridesmaid/ MOH and I am happy that I did as she is my only sister. The only thing is that she has not asked about anything I would like her to do and does not show much interest in the wedding. Maybe she will as it gets closer but sometimes I think she only said yes because it's a special role. I don't know what I should get her to do anyway but if she asks it would be nice to have her do something so she feels she has helped. My mum is helping me heaps and I think sometimes my sister might be a bit jealous. It's just I think being MOH is a special thing so it would be nice if she showed just a little bit of enthusiam. I don't know if I want to say N E thing as it may make things uncomfortable between us. Please help?

I am an office temp and was given a desk next to someone whose perfume makes me leave work early, gives me headaches and makes me consider quitting the job. Would it be rude if I move desks, tell her or grin and bear it (and probably asphyxiate in the process)

I met this girl about a month ago and we've had lunch a couple times. We both seem to like each other but our lives are pretty busy at the moment. We hung out yesterday and had a good time but everytime I leave her I feel like there was more to be said or I should have moved in for a kiss. I'm usually pretty slow when it comes to progressing through the friends/dating/relationship stages. This time I thought I'd show her that my hearts in the right spot so I sent her flowers. She's going to NY the day after the flowers get there so she won't really get to enjoy them, but I figured it was the thought that counts. What do you think? Was it too soon for flowers?

I also wrote a msg saying "I had a good time. Have a great trip and I hope to see you soon." That was the condensed version.

Everytime i ask him he would say i was just vissitting my daughter(13yrs) and he would blame it up on alcohol. We have been together for 9 yrs and married for 4yrs during the week he is a loving husband come weekend then he is a changed person. I've even tried to commit suicide over this. He rather spend his money with his daughter than spend it with our son he would say that i am workinf then i must provide for our son(4yrs) when our comes back from the daycare he doesnt treat him nicely he will always say he i s spoilt and needs to be punished. And the worst part is that he doesnt live with us he lives at work SANDF in N.W he only comes home on month end but time with us is nit an option for him he rather spend his time in tarven drrinkin coming home on 2am in the morning & i am ver tired of this everytime he is sober he would apologies and i would take him back but this time i am at my mothers house i am very stressed & its affecting our son because we r always arguing all the tim

Okay, so I've been dating someone I met through richsoulmate.com. I enjoy going out with her, but she got really serious and I just didn't share her love level. Things came to a head over my upcoming move and I broke up with her.

Now she wants to be friends. My opinion is, that never works, trying to be friends after a romance breaks up. Am I right? Has anyone out there made a successful transition from lovers to friends?

I'm a 20-year old virgin, not because I haven't had the opportunity before (I've been asked four or five times in the past) but because I'm terrified of the idea that I might disappoint someone I care about. This problem led me to break up with a girlfriend I spent a year with and is becoming an increasing source of tension with my current girlfriend. Can anyone help me out?

I'm almost 19 and I haven't had sex yet.And now I am with a girl I really like for almost 2 months so I guess that sooner or later it will come to that.I really don't want to tell her that it will be my first time, mostly because she is 2 years younger and I don't really think that she is a virgin(not sure though)...so my question is,should I not tell her anything and do everything by instinct or should I make sure I have sex at least once before I do anything with her?(by "make sure I have sex" I hope you understand what I mean...)

Recently my 4 year old has asked many times if he can do an activity (something that requires money, like chuckie cheese etc) sometimes we do and others we don’t because I explain that mommy doesn’t have extra money for fun things. THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM……………HERE is my problem…….READ ON!

My son has followed up his request with a “daddy will take me but you need to give him back his money”…what?!

He has said this to me several times recently, saying, “Daddy will take me but YOU have his money! GIVE daddy back his money!”

The only conclusion I can come to is that my evil, twisted ex is manipulating our child by using his state required and garnished (for refusal to pay) child support as leverage! I realize he is unhappy about paying it, but our son is too young to understand what child support is about (an trust me as any single parent can tell you every dime goes into my sons expenses!).

MY EX NEEDS to stop!! But how do I approach him?………He is stubborn, argumentative, bitter (for god sake I left him in 2003) and will retaliate if I confront him. I don’t want to make the situation worse.

I can try to explain to him how damaging and confusing this is for our son but he wont care…just short of calling him choice words and telling him where to go…I don’t know how to approach him or how to confront him about what he has been saying recently…………as well as the “daddy says mommy can piss off”

As a child psych major I realize the damage and inner conflicts this is causing my son and I want to avoid as much “drama” as possible………..

What would you say how would you approach this?

I met a girl last weekend for the first time. We had so much fun together but she left town because she had to see her family and was only visiting my town. Now we planning on her coming back to my town and living together and her getting a job. We had so much fun for the 2 days more than i have ever had with another girl and she feels the same too. But I dont know if we too fast?
