As a woman you I understand that you would want to talk to him about it and sort through it. Men are different, when something happens, they like to be alone to think through things. It's hard to cope with, I understand that.
You should call up a friend, just for a general chat. It's nice to know that friends are supportive. I wouldn't mention it though, unless you are very close. Trust me, talking to him could make him even more mad. Maybe he isn't mad with you, he might be taking his anger out on you. I'm just guessing.
I would come back to him after a day, give him some time to think about it and calm down. Give him a gift, say that you are sorry, and ask if he could talk about it with him.
Knowing guys. I'd say he would probably come to you, because he misses talking to you.
Good luck. Don't worry, fights happen.

Can you manage without him?
If yes, go and confront him. Tell him that if he is no t going to set things straight, the relationship is over.
If not, then you have to find ways to know what really is going on. Talk to him nicely or just leave him alone for sometime until he is ready to talk to you.
However, if he often acts or treats you like this, you better check out your feelings because if both of you are going into a more serious relationship, it will end up you adjusting to his tantrums most of the time which is totally unfair.
Another angle is that, he already found another love but doesn't know how to tell you so he is trying to find a scapegoat hoping you will back off all by yourself.. Be careful

Think about it. If you don't know what you've done wrong and someone is mad at you for something, is there anything that you can do about it? Just don't do anything. Tell him also that you don't know what the problem is and unless he tells you whats wrong then there is no way that you can read his mind. Unless, is there anything that he might've found out? My wife is sometimes like this. I just carry on as normal until she decides to tell me whats wrong. All you can do is wait for him to tell you. You won't be able to force it out of him.

You sound very young and to be honest, this is just the beginning of a LONG journey of male events that you will experience in your life....the thing is, it doesn't get any easier!! Try talking to him, if he doesn't want to give you a chance....MOVE ON. You sound too young to be stressed over boys already...go have fun with your friends.

ASK HIM!. Give him a little space, dont chase after his friends for answers and dont spam him with emails, text messages, and phone calls. Just wait a few days till he wants to talk and simply ask him, Good luck

Just let him be alone for a few days, or as long as he needs. Let him calm down and then ask what you did.

You put on your big girl clothes and tell him that you can't read his mind!
Then, if he still sulks and won't tell you the problem, let it be his problem, not yours.
