Okay, so I've been dating someone I met through richsoulmate.com. I enjoy going out with her, but she got really serious and I just didn't share her love level. Things came to a head over my upcoming move and I broke up with her.

Now she wants to be friends. My opinion is, that never works, trying to be friends after a romance breaks up. Am I right? Has anyone out there made a successful transition from lovers to friends?

it is really awquard at first, but if you pull through that and show her that you DO want to be friends, even if it is awquard for a time, the awquardness will pass. The only relationships that can't turn into just being friends are ones that one or both people just don't want to stay friends. simple as that.

EDIT: I guess it also depends on the LEVEL of the romance. if it is just bf/gf, then sure. but if you two have ben head over heel in love for a while, then it will be a lot harder for the friendship to work.

If you've never had a special feeling for her, it will be easy to get over this grief and just stay as friends. On the contrary,
if you always loved that person and thinks the world of her, it will not be easy to. It depends on how the situation is.
