new jobs can be very stressful. it's the do or die phase.
maybe you should meet when he is really free rather than force a regular meeting that saps his energy. cos when it's forced, he will be resentful and turn cold towards you.
if his new job is THAT busy (and some are), then you might want to reconsider this relationship.
