I met this girl about a month ago and we've had lunch a couple times. We both seem to like each other but our lives are pretty busy at the moment. We hung out yesterday and had a good time but everytime I leave her I feel like there was more to be said or I should have moved in for a kiss. I'm usually pretty slow when it comes to progressing through the friends/dating/relationship stages. This time I thought I'd show her that my hearts in the right spot so I sent her flowers. She's going to NY the day after the flowers get there so she won't really get to enjoy them, but I figured it was the thought that counts. What do you think? Was it too soon for flowers?

I also wrote a msg saying "I had a good time. Have a great trip and I hope to see you soon." That was the condensed version.

i actually think that is the erfect time for the flowers. it is a thoughtful gesture that she will have to think about the wholetime she's gone, and if she wants to date you as well, she'll just be all the more excited to see you when she gets back.

You are too slow for me.
I expect flowers first, or second date.
Kiss on second, first if I really like the Guy.

It could be, but you should figure out if she really liked you or not first before you do/did anything. What if she didn't like you in this way, and she begins to feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

even though you are busy people you can find time for each other. that was a lovely gesture, i bet she was thrilled with the flowers.women love gifts, even the smallest gesture is appreciated. at least she won't forget you.
