Many congrats! your wife is very lucky to have a husband who prepares for special occasions well in advance! It'll be my (and hubby's) 1st anniversary next month too!
Some ideas:
1. Place an advert in the Family Announcements section of your local paper, saying how much you love and worship her!
2.Take her out! Doesn't have to be going to a restaurant. Just somewhere the pair of you used to go to when dating with a take away supper or if the weather is warm and dry, a picnic for two! (It'll be the sort of thing MY hubby would do!) If you have kids, a babysitter is recommended!!!
3. Have a look on the Internet for gift ideas! Some sites I've had a look at:
http://www.anniversaryideas.com
http://www.justpaperroses.com
http://www.outofthehat.co.uk
http://www.violetandblue.co.uk
http://www.whsmith.co.uk
I plan to purchase my hubby's gift from W H Smith- an acre of the Moon! You can buy a piece of Mars or Venus! (Only £20, but you get documents! Hence the link to paper)
4. If you are still stuck for ideas, or money is really tight for you two, just tell her how much you love her and how happy she has made you feel. I know it's a "Pass the sick bucket" type thing, but knowing my luck, it's the sort of thing my hubby would do!

One of the most special things that you can do is something that will be close to the heart and that she can keep forever. Write her a love letter and let her know all the reasons you want to be with her now and forever. Anyone can go buy jewelry or clothes or an anniversary card. Burn her a audio cd that tells her all the ways you feel about her. Take her on a secluded getaway where there is no work, no family, no phones except for emergencies. Hope this helps, boss!

Put together a scavenger hunt for her that would have a question ready at each stop. If she answers them correctly, it will lead her to her next destination. Your clues can take her through several of the most memorable locations for the two of you. At the 2nd to last stop, have her visit a store where a dress is already picked out for her, and her hair and makeup can be done. At that point, a limo could pick her up outside the store and take her to the last stop. It could be the location where you first asked her out/marry her/tell her you loved her. There, you'll be waiting for her with flowers in hand - and you will be the first thing she sees.

Give her a full body massage (with baby powder) and expect nothing in return.
Give her 31 (or 30 if its a 30 day month) small gifts, and tell her each one is to celebrate one day that she's made you the happiest man alive.
Wash, wax, and detail her car before she wakes up, and leave a note that says "I tried to show you how much you make heart shine by demonstrating with your car, but I failed. I decided nothing I could say or do would demonstrate what you've done to me."
Write her a note with a list of 30 different things you've learned that you love about her since you've been married--one for each day.
I hope these help!

Hire a private aeroplane for the day and take her somewhere nice. Have a balloon flight over the countryside with a bottle of champagne. Have a limousine pick her up from work and a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered to her at work. Have a marquee set up in the garden and hire a chef to cook a special meal with champagne on ice.

You should know what kind of things she likes by now. What will make her feel special is your earnest attempt to let her know how much you love and appreciate her. Tell her you would marry her again and that it was the best thing you ever did. Don't assume she knows how much you love her just because you married her. Women need a lot of reassurance and can never get enough of it. Write her a poem or a letter and pour your heart out to her in it. Read it to her over a romantic dinner. Set out to win her heart all over again. It will keep her smiling and you happy!

Treat this day as an important day. You wife will feel happy if she sees that you put in effort to make it romantic and enjoyable. Try to think of your past or young days when you chase after her. Think of the things that you have not done for years. examples are holding her hands, pamper her, buy her flowers or say some touching words. The most important things to do is to make her feel that she is very important in your heart after all these years. As long as you are sincere and she will definitely feel it. Recall back what you have done last time to make her feel like marrying you. I will not tell you what to buy. However, Think carefully what will make her think that you are the right man for her. Wish you all the best!

You could take her for a nice meal and at some point in the evening you could give her an eternity ring to let her know your love will last forever. Whatever you do I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time, she's a lucky lady having such a thoughtful husband.

You've only been married a year? Dude, you guys are still honeymooning! I would take her to her favorite restaurant, get a nice hotel room for afterwards, enjoy each other's company over a glass of champagne, and order room service the next morning & have breakfast in bed! Hold off on buying jewelry, otherwise she'll expect it every year!
