my parents dont speak english and i have to be the one to go with them to the doctor, to translate, call people for them, read mail, and i hate that. I'm only 14 and i feel like i never had a childhood. I always have to go with them to places afterschool even though i have TONS of hw cause i take Ap classes. This has been going on for a few years now. And the thing is, if they take my older sister, (by 2 years) or make her call, she doesnt handle stuff like i do, she screws everything up. I dont want to sound mean but its true. Everytime i tell myself to not go, i feel bad cause there is no one else to translate for them. They both work long hours so they dont have time to take classes. Can someone help me deal with this please?? the stress is killing me!

My ex is almost 13000 dollars behind and he is trying to get me to drop the arreages but of course I will not. So he has hired an attorney and is taking me to court saying that he has receipts for clothes and stuff. Not money. During our separation of two years he only paid me 4800 dollars in childsupport. Do buying gifts count towards childsupport payments?

I've noticed that fathers that play with their daughters tend to be more gentle and more emotionally intimate. Fathers that have a son tend to be more agressive in playing with them and not that emotionally close. While women treat whichever gender their child is as the same.

non- exciting. i get up 5 days a week and do the same job. i get up at 530 am. get ready for work and leave for work at 730. i get home from work at 630 pm. i eat dinner, spend a little time with my wife and two sons. watch television for an hour, go to sleep and repeat. my wife seems to often be unhappy with things. i make enough for her to stay home with the kids. yet she always wants more. she wants a bigger house and all these things yet is completely uninterested in sex with me. i often feel like i walk on eggshells around her. the only thing i really find i enjoy doing anymore is spending a little time with my sons or the occasional workout/ exercise. i feel jaded about work. i have an mba and earn over 100k but am getting to the point that i don't care about the job that much anymore.
how does someone in such a huge rut feel passion about life again? is it possible to feel this way again or is it generally a downhill fall from here on?

I am getting married October 6th and send out our invitations the end of August with a reply date of September 21. As of right now I have over 50 people who have not replied. If on the 25th I still haven't heard from them, do I call them and ask them if they are coming to our reception or do I just assume that they are not and that is why they haven't send back their response card.

When get inspiration I start writing or drawing. My dad has no problem with me writing but when I draw he criticizes me horribly. I always draw clothes because thats how I express myself, but my dad thinks I'm just obsessed with fashion and thats all i think about. He keeps telling me to concentrate on studying as if that is all I should be doing. But I'm an A student and I'm a cheerleader, but my dad still thinks I'm just wasting my life. No matter how many times I try to make him understand he still says my my drawings are completely and utterly useless and it hurts because my drawings are my thoughts and feelings. I feel like he insults me when he insults my drawings. What should I do?

Honestly, now.

Would you be uncomfortable if your boyfriend/husband had breakfast with a woman that he considers a good friend?

Here's the kicker: What if you knew they had an intimate past? Now, what if she constantly gave her unasked for advice and opinions about your relationship with your boyfriend/husband?

Also, you weren't able to go to this little meeting because you have to be at work at 8:30AM and both your significant other and his friend work the night shift at their separate jobs and they get off at about the same time.

How would you feel and what would you do in this situation?

I am really hurt and upset. My boyfr. of 3 years broke up with me half year ago. It's been really hard since. Every time I told him I am going to move on, he always told me that it upsets him too much and that we should stay in contact and still talk to each other. He said that for now we are broken up but in the future we could get back together. I met him about a month ago and we did have a nice time but I realised that the only way I can move on is to say good bye to him. I did but he was telling him how he is scared of loosing me and that I should not do that. But at the same time he told me that he doesn't want to continue our long-distance relationship and we could try again later when he moves closer. I told him that I need to cut all contact with him but he could not understand that. Now he is telling me that i need to make my mind up about what I would like to do about this but he says that we should have no contact until we feel stronger. I am so hurt about this.

My friend "Sarah" and I were best friends all through out college. We went out together every week at least three times and had coffee together all the time. We were very close. I thought of her as one of the best friends I ever had. She wasn't able to have kids so I even promised her that I'd be her surrogate mother cause we were so close. Then, in our 4th year, we lived together. We had a great time. It was three girls and it was fun. But then that summer the third girl moved out and Sarah's cousin "Jane" moved in to replace her. Jane was mean and rude, went through my stuff, insulted me regularly (told me I was fat) and told my boyfriend he was not welcome in our home because she was not comfortable with him there. Basically, Sarah started to act different. She started spending all her time with Jane and ignoring me. I felt unwelcome in my own home, so I moved in with my boyfriend. Sarah was furious at me for moving out, even though I still payed rent.

My grandfather doesn't have much longer to live and my grandmother is having a hard time. I find it difficult to be around her when she's depressed even though I love her. See, I'm vulnerable so it's hard to be around depressing people and things. But people say you should be there for your family when their loved one is dying but that'll be hard for me if she just gets depressed and talk about nothing but depressing things. That's all she talks about these days. I don't know if I should get her mind off her husband's illness by playing card games with her or what. Should I go see her, get her mind off things or just leave her alone for a while? I can't deal with grieving or seeing people who are depressed. Not that I'm unsympathetic but it's hard for me to be that way. I just feel very uncomfortable around people who talk about depressing things and who are really depressed. I got through depression myself and hate to be around it again.
