im 15, theres a boy i like who goes to an all boys school. hes shy and has never even really talked to a girl before. a friend whos friends with him said he said i 'looked good'. in what way might he mean this??

I think that just means that he "likes how you look". If you are curious enough, go to the source... ask him. And if you like him, tell him how you feel about him. If you are shy, just write him a note.

We're all attracted to beauty--and your shy friend has become attracted to you!! The first instance of attraction, for either men or women, is sexual; a normal experience of the human condition.
We're attracted to what we feel is pretty. We come closer to it and hopefully, get to know fully what this pretty thing is: Is this pretty thang something we want for the short time or long time; is this pretty thang something we want to attach to us for our entire life?
Things get complicated from there, but hopefully we figure what works for us.

it depends and might also mean so lot of things but only him can tell the real meaning so why don't you get closer to him and start something with him since he has never talked to a girl before. but to me he only meant it on friendly way but you won't know if you don't go closer to him so try it.

I think he might like you too...forget waiting for the guy to make the first move...that's so old school...ask him out...the worst he could do is say no, and that's not the end of the world, there are plenty of other guys out there.

well...he could mean that you look nice or that he thinks your attractive. I don't think it means that he thinks your ugly or anything...I think you are overthinking things way too much. Just go up to him and start chatting.
