Whenever someone asks a question like "Should I wear a short skirt for my boyfriend" etc there always seems to be a lot of answers like "wear what you want". I respect this answer and believe that it is only true to an extent.
My previous boyfriend always wanted me to wear stockings and suspenders to work.(We work at the same office) I refused but on his birthday I wore them as I treat. It actually made me feel very sexy that he made me wear them for him.
Therefore my question is would you wear anything (within reason) for a boyfriend or should you dress for yourself?

Both! Perosnally, I think it says a LOT about your relationship that (1) he feels comfortable telling you what he likes and (2) you are willing to be responsive. Hopefully, it's a two way street. I"m all about pleasing my man and him pleasing me (within reason, lik eyou said). Wow -- two people who want to make each other happy?? WOO HOO!!! Bring it on, I say! This kind of dynamic can only make the relationship stronger. So if your man wants you to wear a skirt, go for it! The question is, what are YOU going to ask HIM to wear . . . ? Good luck!

It would depend on what i was being asked to wear i suppose. I know my body and what suits my shape etc better than a man so if he was suggesting something that would look hideous then i would refuse, but if it was something that suited me, but just wouldnt be my normal choice of attire i prob would wear on special occassions or as a treat once in a while.

if your boyfriend wants you to wear stockings and stuff dont bother because your the one who has to wear it not him!
wear what you feel comfortable in its not up to him.
if i were you i would tell him straight, unless of course you want to them.
if you do want to them, then that is up to you but you cannot spend your fe pleaseing people you have a life to live it!!
if in were you i would say : i will only wear sexy stuff on special occasoins but especially not work because someone could look and see you in your sexy stuff and then you would feel sooooooooooo embarressed and it would be all your boyfriends fault that you have been found out.
so as i have said before dress as you feel comfortable in not as your bouyfriend wants you to.
your boyfriend doesnt nhave to wear it. xxx

Sure, why not? The guy I'm seeing likes "outfits" and has actually asked me to wear them before. I'll absolutely comply from time to time, because it's fun and I know what a turn-on it is for him.

Like you said its only true to an extent. Yes I dress for myself but I also wear stuff I know my boyfriend likes. If he told me to wear something in a bossy way I wouldn't, just to let him know that he can't boss me around. But yes I do on occasion wear stuff he likes. I also wear stuff I know for a fact that he doesnt like, but i like it so i wear it.

it depends on the articles of clothing, but it's not such a bad thing to dress up for your partner every now and then. my girl does it all the time. if shes comfortable enough to do it, she will. otherwise we will comprimise.

yes within reason, also ask him to do the same also within reason, you may like him to dress trendy, or in a daffy duck suit, that's the choice

if it was for sexy time then why not, its only you and him that will see it, also you could turn it around and see how he reacts when you ask him to wear something that you like.
