Female principal has is dragging the puppy and telling me off and said,"in my office now". I told her not to drag the puppy by neck. What would you do. I have a son in the school like the school and teachers. I told her I was not one of her students. No point writing a letter to her. Lots of kids and parents. How would you handle it?

Is Burger King completely clueless? As a parent, I know that when a commercial mentions Spongebob any child under the age of 12 will immediately fixate on the tv and to have a naked guy (granted, he's under bubbles) point to emphasize his "nopants" disturbs me greatly! Am I the only one?

Okay last night me and my baby father was talking on the phone and in the middle of our conversation he says, he wants our son to stay with him for 3 days out of the week. Now me as mother i do not feel like i should have to go over his and see my own child. we are not married. and i told him this. (i shouldnt have to go over his and see my own child). and he gets mad. he thinks i am going to keep the baby away from him thats something i was never thinking about.. Then he threathens me verbally. he have a cat and sleeps in the basement of his sister house. all the dust and a cat is not good for our son i am more thinking about my son immune system because he would not be able to handle that as a infant. I am more thinking about my sons health and he more thinking about the baby stayng with him. And he calls me slefish. now, he says if the baby make good but if the my son does'nt he is not going to be mad. i dont think he cares. i am wrong 4 not wanting my son his house?

My son who I have custody of, and his father lives 4 hours away. My son wants to live with his daddy and asks and asks and asks all the time.

I am the disiplinary and he has rules here. His father he sees once every 3 weeks for just a weekend and has a ton of fun there. But at his fathers he has a lot of friends he can play with. Where I live, there is no kids his age to play with. He doesn't like his school and argues with me a lot.

My son told me at his fathers house, he doesn't have to bush his teeth everyday, he doesn't have to floss, he doesn't have to take vitimans. And his father has a strict eating rule. My growing son can only eat at scheduled times and if he doesn't or if he doesn't like what he has to eat, he just won't eat. His father won't give him any food if he doesn't eat. He can not eat if it's after 6pm. Only at the schedule times.

I think him being 7 he should stay with me until at least 12 years old. I don't think he'll be cared physically.

I recently moved back in with my parents with my five-month-old daughter. My daughter has become very clingy lately and whenever I put her down so I can do something, she screams. I don't want to spoil her, so I let her cry for a few minutes until she calms down. My mother or father will come in and say, "Oh, she's crying... pick her up!"

I try to explain to them that I don't want to spoil her and have to carry her around everywhere I go, but they disregard everything I say. How can I politely and effectively ask them to let ME raise my daughter the way I want without hurting their feelings or making them think I'm being disrespectful?

About five months ago me and my girlfriend (we are both 17) were having sex (we live together) and my 3 year old daughter walked in and caught us. We were embarrased and she was stunned. We were doing it on my bedroom bed, on the bed (not under the covers), and with the lights on so she saw everything clear. We told her we were cold because we were naked and we hugging to warm up. I guess she bought it because she has not mentioned it anymore. But has anyone else got caught doing it by your children? If so what was your excuse?

Please do not suggest we lock the door. I never lock the door in case of emergancy.

I wonder why this woman keeps abandoning the babies on the back of trucks, when you can perfectly put the baby at the fire station door or a church...It makes me mad, that poor baby died of cold, If only she had put the baby in a safe place!!! That makes her a bad mother and an evil person!!!!

It's not as if this is the first time it happened. I'm aware that most of the books on the list of "greatest books ever written" were banned at some point in time. Ok, now personally I'm against books being banned in school period. The point is to teach them to read, then don't limit what they can read. Reading has educational value and if they are in high school and still haven't learned to tell fiction from fact, then you need to allow them to read more so they can figure it out.

I had to read some of the worst books known to man--and the same book nearly every year in the school system (which didn't magically seem like it moved up in complexity each time I had to reread it either) simply b/c it had never been controversal.

But I was curious--from a parenting perspective, what do you think on the school bann of Harry Potter? Does anyone on here agree and why?

ok so we've been living in this appartment for a while now about 3 months ago we had some people move in upstairs.....a girl a guy and this kid (2yrs old) well problems started form the very beginning ....they told the land lord that they work over-night (same as us) and that their kid is really well behaved...well guess what they lied! ever since they moved in the kid has been a nightmare all he does is run ALL DAY LONG and his "parents" ( i put this in quotations because i would not really call these people parents) dont even care they just let him ... imean they dont even try to help it by taking him outside at all (not that im being nosey but im outside a lot and their car is always there)....so after giving them a couple days to settle in and get used to everything i go talk to them and ask them to keeo the kid quiet cuz because the hours we work we sleep during the day, well it stopped..for about an hour

i love my kids very much but noticed since having them that they have slowed me down a lot and made simple things much more complicated. how do i get over the extra effort and work it takes to do ANYTHING...like:

going to the gym
going back to school
going back to work
spending time with my husband

without neglecting them and also without spending a FORTUNE in daycare and babysitting fee's. daycare here cost's $1,200 a month for the 2 kids, that's more than a morgage payment.

PLEASE HELP!
