Do any of you know any tricks? Or good ideas that can teach a child how to use the potty?
My cousins Daughter learned before she was two, her babysitter taught her. My daughter is only 18 months but is very interested in the potty , so we bought her, her own. I know this is early, but The Dr. said it's good to get the potty early even if it takes another year for her to learn, but at least she will be acquainted with it.

And Also I've heard other people who have taught their children how to use the potty before age two. Please Give me all the potty tips you can =) Go On Mommas and daddys You know you want to share your success stories=)

I read many passages about the pants down spanking here and see that I works for many families.

I was spanked in the same way as a child and I am now almost 25. I believe that it works for me at last resort. I have been spanked in this way for less than 10 times.

My mum would pull down my pants to spank when I was really bad and in serious situation as a punishment. Notice, it's whole pants and underwear down. Keep the frontal nudity not only on the bottom.

Once I was spanked in this way, I will try my best to behave well and my mum did not spank without any reasons

Therefore, I have some questions here:
1.The whole pant and panties down also to make frontal nudity or just bare the bottom?
2.For every spanking, pant and panties need to pulled down?
3.You pull down or order your kids to pull down themselves?(I was asked to pull down once)
4.Did you ask their feeling about the spanking after that?If yes, how did they answer?

My one year old made the transition from breast to bottle to nuby but the nuby seems no different than a bottle to me. How is it better than a bottle? He seems to get a little choked with the avent cup, too fast of a flow. What is the optimal sippy for my sons mouth and why?

If these people are stupid enough to get pregnant without being married or enough money to support themselves and the child, should the state refuse to support them and the child be adopted?

Hi Guys, My daughter will be 1 years old around easter and She just got her first tooth. I was just wondering What all she can have like candy wise to put in the plastic eggs if we wanted to go that rougt? I was wondering what all you mothers did with your 12 month olds when easter came. And what you used.
She loves food, everytime I cook shes gotta have what mommy and daddy has shes been on solids and table scraps like small cut up hot dogs and everything and does fine she started those at 5 months. (The hot dogs we just started). Except I found out green beans isnt good to give. Well, I would like to know what you guys have done.. :-) thank you!

What do some of you parents out their think of people that spoil there kids, like when they get in trouble they dont get punished, or when you ask them to do something like clean their room and they throw a fit saying "I am a princess and princess's dont clean rooms" and then the parent makes a sibling clean it instead, Or for christmas the kid has the most gifts under the tree more the her siblings and she cries because its not enough. Im in this situation with my step daughter, her mother and father spoil her rotten and its hard for me to deal with because Im tough on my kids. If they keep going the route they are going with this child what will end up becoming of her as she gets older? She is 7 years old

I plan on marrying her soon, and I would like to adopt her daughter, who is three. The child does not have a father, so to speak, and there is no name listed on the child's birth certificate. Will I be able to adopt her, and legally change her last name to mine? the father has never been in the picture, and never will, due to the fact he is a piece of crap, and doesn't deserve a child. he was abusive and the what not. the little girl pretty much knows me to be her father, and we want it to be legal. I need some help from you guys who understand my sit. I've been married 1 year I'm 23, I have no kids and never lived with kids my husband, just recently gained custody of his 6 year old son, b/c his mother is a corrupted alcoholic/druggy with a severe bi-polar disorder, and loves to screw with peoples head and make ky life a living hell!!! We are a Navy family we transferred to bangor washington just to get the hell away from her!!! she's only allowed to call 2x a week and when she does she starts so much drama gets my husband on the phone and rowled up and and tell my stepson to never listen to us and to be mean to me, it breaks my heart!!! my stepson always has a bad attitude with meafter he talks to his mom and I feel as if half the time me and my husband are on two different ends of the spetrum and always fighting! I try too withstand a lot of this stress and be a good wife and step mom! I've never been married or have kids???? I feel like I'm going to have a nervous break down!

thing is plausable, does that mean my son who is just turned two and is 3 foot 2...does that mean he will be 6 foot 4?
I am five foot ten and his dad is the same.
My dad is six three and my mom was five seven.
His mom is about five seven and his dad five nine.
