Just saying you can't get a sitter and not even looking into getting into one

Heck yeah! It's my best excuse. Sometimes people don't understand how hard it is to get out when you have kids. And I love my kid, I like spending my free time with her. So unless it's something important, I cry "no sitter" so I can stay home and be a mommy.

No. Although I've said I didn't want to do something because I didn't want to find a sitter. But, I've been honest about it when I didn't want to do something. Finding a sitter is sometimes a pain. Finding a good consistant sitter is even worse!!

No mommy likes coming home to her baby with her kitchen a mess. I have a granite coutnertop I paid an arm and leg for and found peanut butter and jelly smudges all over it. The jelly was glued there and the knife left laying on the countertop. I wouldn't have minded the smudges had the knife been in the sink and the jars and bread sealed up and put away.

No, I've not done that. My sis was always pushing her boy off on anyone that would take him. I swore that as a mother I'd never put my child off on anyone. He's only been away from 3 times in his life and each time lasted no more than 3 hrs. He's almost 3 yrs old. People tell me I'm making a mistake by not letting go of him, but I don't want other people raising him...He's my responsibility!
