What is the best color or outfit for my little girl (4) to wear when I go get her portraits taken on satarday???

ok well I am thinking a little salor type dress does that sound cute?

I am a photographer and take mostly children. Go with a solid colour rather than a patterned fabric. I find that clothes that are too fussy take away from the child. Some people prefer colours which are darker, particularly if the child is fair. If she is really light-haired/light-skinned, I would avoid white, as it will wash her out. I also didn't like seeing little girls wearing lip gloss (my personal preference, but some moms like that) Most good photographers can match whatever she is wearing to backgrounds and props and like that. So find something clean and pretty and do her hair up...just nothing too complicated. Have fun!

It does depend on the background and what looks best on your daughter. Id see if the photographer has a website and what other kids wear and kind of copy that look. Or search on kids photography or something like that and look at other photograpers websites.

My mom took a portrait of us when we were little kids in matching overalls, white turtlenecks, and barefeet. It was the sweetest little pic in the world!

I personally think it depends on what kind of background or props you will be using. You don't want things to contrast too much.

definately something light and springy. My daughter took pictures in a yellow dress that she picked out and it was beautiful.
