My one year old made the transition from breast to bottle to nuby but the nuby seems no different than a bottle to me. How is it better than a bottle? He seems to get a little choked with the avent cup, too fast of a flow. What is the optimal sippy for my sons mouth and why?

i also have a one year old son who recently went from bottle to sippy cup. i tried different kinds of cups, but he seemed to like the cups with the soft nipple like sipper. its not a nipple top but a sippy top its just soft. i went through about five different ones before i figured out what he liked. i guess the older he gets he may begin to like the hard ones. the softer ones are more similar to a bottle to him.

My daughter had the bottle and then now she uses the nuby cup. She doesn't use it like a bottle, because she is using her motor skills to hold the cup with two hands. My son got rid of the bottle and went on the avent cup, it restricted his flow a little so he didn't drink as much so he wouldn't get that much sugar from the milk into his mouth at one time.
