How early would you start and exactly what would you do.

So my nephew is 6 years old, he has had a lot of things go on that most kids dont deal with (his father passed away a few years ago and now a friend of the family whom he stays with a lot is sick) I found out that he has been sneaking into my friends room in the middle of the night and sleeping in his bedroom then waking up before my friend even knows he was there. I also found out he has been having bad dreams about my friend dying... How do we deal with this? I feel he is too old to be sleeping in someone elses bed, but I dont know if under the circumstances it is ok? any advice is appreciated.
Also, although my friend is not his father, he may as well be since he has been taking care of him for the past 2 years (i am at school and his mom has never been in his life) and my nephew considers him like a father and his children like brothers...

I asked this earlier and got some good insight but would like more so that is why I am reasking it. Thanks

I have a nephew that is 5 years old and he hardly says mom. That is all he says. I think he tries to speak other words but none of them are understandable. Is this normal? Because we already took him to the hospital so they can do some analysis, and they said that everything was normal.

Those of whom are of young ages. Should it be considered child abuse?

Ie you pretend you did not do all the same things when you were young.

Or pretend as a girl you were this innocent 17 year old virgin

Not some groupie or party girl dating all the guys doing it in cars, cinemas, clubs, etc...

Then grew up

As for guys only into one hting...

Takes two to tango so the girls were just as much into sex stuff as the boys... more so... girls get it easier.

How many wnet clubbing and had a good time?

well the clubs I was into were all very safe... in one saw one fight in 14 years and thats only as someone was dumb enough to touch the butt of a fiesty tomboy girl who floored him, twice her size who out moshed the boys in the wild most pits.

how many all snuck into all the r/18 rated movies, drank underage, smoked, smoked dope etc.

As it was pretty much all I knew.

I'm sure anyone who's seen these "Nanny shows" on television like Nanny 911 and Super-Nanny knows what I'm talking about. All this talk about "naughty spots" etc. etc. It makes me so frustrated because I just want to tell the parents on there: "You don't need a television show to fix your child. Just grab a belt and give them a good spanking and they settle down. Parents have been doing it all through history, and guess what? It works. So why don't parents seem to want to give spankings anymore? Has our entire society just gone soft? I fear for the future when I see all these pansy children growing up without a parent willing to take charge. Our prisons are going to be overrun with people who had no idea there are consequences for your actions. My parents spanked me and I love them for it. Discuss please.

Why do parents go histerical if their mid teen daughter dates a 18, 19, or early 20 year old or friends with them?

We always hung out in groups with a wide age range say 15 though to late tenties.

Dating between say 15 and 19 was common or 16 and early tenties.

there was no predation, force, minipulation or and of this tripe, nor where the guys only into one thing...

In most cases they were just mates before and developed feelings and started to date no different to anyone else.

usually it siply did not work out. Then neither did it when they were with somone the same age.

in many cases the younger girl say 15,16,17 has far more experienced, confident, and had had sex etc far more then the guy did, many were virtual virgins, clueless about girls and shy and very nice, and cared .

As for what did they have in common?

Dancing, Quasar, bowling, music, gigs, cinema, parties, making out.

Pretty much the same stuff.

No virgin surgeons no preditor

I don't get why some parents think that spanking a child is wrong. If your child does something wrong, he or she needs to get punished! And just telling them-"no, that was bad don't do it anymore" won't work. They'll think hey last time I did that I only got yelled at! But if you were to spank them they would say oh hey, last time I did that I got spanked and it kind of hurt-I don't think I'll try that anymore! What is everyones thoughts on this, I think that lack of punishment is part of the problem in the world we live in today! What do you all think?

MY daughter in law is and maybe my grandaughter. She had to go to the emergency room two weeks ago because she dislocated a ligament while playing. I was holding her hand tonight while she pulled up off of the floor and her arm popped. She now says it hurts really bad. I think that they are taking her to the doctor. Does this happen in children who are double jointed?

I mean, they can as their way of punishment but why do they? Why do they think hurting their child is going to get their point across? If you hit them a little on their butt when they are little children that's ok but not when they are like, 11 or 12+ And anyways, spanking your children teaches your child that it is ok to hit people.

I'm never going to spank my children. I think there are other better ways to punish your child. What do you guys say?

Hi I have 4 boys, that's right 4. They are definitley a handful! They are ages 10, 8, 5 & 3 and they CONSTANTLY fight. They're always wrestling, hitting, kicking, and especially biting! People say, you have 4 boys that's all the testosterone... I have tried everything, taking away toys, putting them on the stairs (it's like supernanny's "naught bench", they dread the stairs) but as soon as their time out is over they're back fighting. Dad can't control them either. I limit their sugar intake, thinking that was a cause. They are very energetic and love to play outside, but they never run out of pep...

I felt very uncomfortable and I did not know what to say. I went to her room to wake her up and she was completly naked and rubbing herself . I was stunned and i acted like i did not see it so i said oh why are your clothes off ...then i let it go and said hey lets get ready for school go get u an outfit~ then a few days later her teacher told me that she saw her sitting on her hands and it looked odd~ so then i told her maddy this is not something you do in public~ then i asked did you need to go potty is that why u had your hands there and she said no i was cold~ i just let it go , but i do not remember doing anything like this. Is this abnormal or normal? what does a parent say when they see something like this?
