my daughter was horrible from 13-16 she referred to me as her or she. She got along with my hubby just not me. I think it was hormones and when she hit 16 it was like she was a different kid. hang in there but don't give in just to keep peace have hubby discipline her instead of you for a while. If she does something wrong just have her dad talk to her.

I find alot of adults that have attitude when confronted with things too. What I do with my kids is that in my house, attitude doesn't work for you. Attitude mean you lose privleges and get treated like a kid. Of course they will throw attitude around. They want to be treated like adults. But that has to be earned. In my house you are more then welcome to have all the attitude you want in your room. If you wreck things.. I will take everything out of your room. Our family is about respect and kindness. If you can't act like part of the family... live by yourself in your room until you are ready to join, just know we do miss you. That is my attitude with my kids. It works well. When they really want something that cute little attitude comes out and they ask nicely. I don't yell. I don't argue. The older mykids act the older they get treated. That is how I do it

Time to get control of her. It's normal at her age to push you as far as she can. You may have to show the difference between her rights and privileges. Be patient and avoid shouting matches with her. Remember she is NOT your equal she is a child and you do know best.

you have to find a form of punishment that works for her...take the phone from her, the t.v. at certain hours, or computer, whatever works! i'm telling you, if you don't get it in some form of control now, it'll be hell to pay later on!

take care!!!

you have allowed her to get away with this. Start to punish this behaviour. Grounding. no pocket money, take away privileges. Once she realises you mean it and won't let her get away with it she will improve

sounds to me shes spoiled. and sounds to me you need to put your foot down and lay down the law and take anything electronic away from her until she learns respect and not to be spoiled.
