I think this is very drastic action. Wouldn't it be better to refer her to a dietician/nutritionist, and to assign her a social worker who's responsibility it is to help her and provide support in order to help her son to lose weight. She is obviously just finding it difficult to refuse her son the foods he wants to eat. Instead of punishing her, they should help her. Only as a last resort where she is clearly not co-operating or has no intention in helping her son to lose weight should it be considered that he is taken away!

How is it that any parent, guardian, sociologist, psycologist, etc. can tell anyone that they are too young to have sex, when we were created with the ability to conceive children immediately after puberty(around 12 yrs. of age) And didn't the earlier days see marriage and sex at very early ages(early teens)? Why has this changed over the years?

I've been labeled all sorts of things because I simply have no desire to become a mother and know I'd make a bad one so I'm curious as to why people feel the way they feel.

I think they should as it is cruel to allow a child to get overweight, especially the parents who can see that their child is overweight & still they keep filling them full of rubbish. What do you think?

My daughter is going to be 4 soon and she already knows what sex is. She calls it hunking. I was shocked when she showed me the action of having sex. I know this isnt normal but I would like some advice from other parents. By the way, my husband and I are very careful not to be caught so it wasnt on my watch that she learned this.

When i was 9 (boy), i was spanked in front of a 3yrs old girl by my mum with my pants and underwear down.?
yes, i think i really needed to get spanked as i was bad and my mother got angry at that moment. That little girl is my neighbor and she visited us before i get spanked. She seems that not care to see my half nake body. However, do you think a boy aged 9 can be spanked like that in front of a little girl?

Do you that girl still remember i was pulled down the pants to be spanked?

p.s.: I was asked to stay naked in front of that little girl for half hour.

My daughter is 2 years old. While pregnant the father refused to be involved. After a year I filed for child support and moved 1/2 way across the country. Then he decided to come around. He is good to her (and his other child) but does not have character. He lies, manipulates, is immature, etc to every adult person I know. I do not want him having a big influence on my daughter's life but I also don't want her feeling rejected or abandoned. He is someone I definitely do not want my child getting her moral foundation from. What is the best way to handle this situation?

My husband and her have terrible tempers and are too proud to make up so I am in the middle of it and dont know what to do anymore. My 11 year old just wants peace in the house, as do we all.She has no priveleges left to take away. She has changed schools 4 times in 2 years because the kids are mean and she hates the teachers. She has stopped calling us the disgusting names but still tells us to f off when she is mad and gives us the finger. She tells everyone that we are abusing herbut she has hit bit and pulled our hair during many tantrums over the computer being turned off.
She has had psychologists and a psychiatrist perscibed drugs for her which didnt help her in all of our opinion. She lives with her grandparents during the week for school but lately when she comes home for the weekends she doesnt want to go back to school again and has started acting hostile again to us.Grand parents say that she is great at their house , but seems lonely.
Do I let her have a computer over there

My daughter is 5 and she is still wearing pull ups to bed. i think they are the worse. I think they have made her lazy with getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.
My son is 2 and when it's his time to start training I will not use pull ups.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you handle it? It drives my crazy

I read all these things about how "Parents should pay more taxes because they put a burden on the government" and "Babies should act like adults when you're out to eat". What is up with that? I mean, look at Germany. They're having to PAY people to have children because they have very little youth. Their country is failing. What do these people think? Are they even thinking? If you discourage and punish people from having kids, they won't have kids. What then? What in 50 years are they going to do?

I have been drinking 2 7.5 oz. bottles of water a day, I used to drink all soda and no water. I'm trying to eliminate soda from my diet, I don't usually drink it for the caffeine, I just like soda. I will drink soda for the caffeine about once a week. I'm trying to eat more vegetables. I don't want to go full-out vegetarian because I wouldn't stick with that and I dont believe in diets that feel like diets because they just fail anyways. I love bike riding, is there a free way to do this in the winter? I have a regular bike for outdoors and can ride that in nice weather but its snowy winter in Wisconsin right now.
