Why would that be bad?

2007-03-29 08:07:05 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

I was working full time and going to high school at 16. At 18 I added a part time job to that. Now, at 21 I work full time all day, go to college all night, take care of the house, spend time with husband, and I just found out we're expecting our first child. So to answer your question, no I do not think it's bad.

Do you mean is it bad to work full time instead of going to school? I guess some could consider it bad if that were the case. I think if you have a good job there is nothing wrong with working full time instead of going to school. You may find yourself at a dead end job if you don't further your education, but college isn't for everyone and if you are taking care of your finances then there is nothing wrong with that.

Not at all. Why would it be bad?

When you're young a good technique to save up some money before moving out is getting a job at 18 and work for a few years while living with your parents, ask them if you can do somethings around the house to cover rent (if they demand it). This way you have no upkeep to pay, all your money is safely nestled in a bank account and just keeps growing.

This way you have some security when you move out. :)

If your independent, going to school, have your own place, a car note, love to shop, and etc. Then I would see how a full time job would come in handy. You need money to do all those things above.
